NeoPyro Posted January 1, 2020 Report Posted January 1, 2020 Greetings, I was doing a little flight tonight and noticed on the Active Flight Plan page it was showing negative fuel remaining at my destination. Quote
NeoPyro Posted January 1, 2020 Author Report Posted January 1, 2020 I've attached a screenshot for illustration. Quote
NeoPyro Posted January 1, 2020 Author Report Posted January 1, 2020 (edited) Greetings Goran, I landed with approximately 119 gallons remaining. Suffice it to say I had more than enough fuel to complete the flight. Edited January 2, 2020 by Clive of Flubbs Quote
iamfallen Posted January 13, 2020 Report Posted January 13, 2020 I believe there are some older posts discussing this same issue. I think it was to do with the Laminar G1000 itself. Quote
matchball Posted January 13, 2020 Report Posted January 13, 2020 No, that is a bug 100%. I am getting it every single flight. The G1000 is showing correct amount of fuel in the SYSTEM-FUEL page, but the FPL calculations are not using that figure. 1 Quote
matchball Posted January 17, 2020 Report Posted January 17, 2020 (edited) Is it possible for the devs to confirm the issue? I am trying to find what I am doing wrong without success... And just to say. Aside from that, I love the bird. Been flying it a lot and reading the manuals. Just having trouble with this one... Edited January 17, 2020 by matchball 1 Quote
Syrential Posted January 18, 2020 Report Posted January 18, 2020 I am seeing the same issue here. I think the solution might be to load the fuel in a cold & dark cockpit and only then power on the systems. Now I've only tested this once and it worked, so it might have been a coincidence. I haven't had the time to do further testing. Quote
matchball Posted January 19, 2020 Report Posted January 19, 2020 I have done that. Tried now again and still no luck. Also tried loading aircraft "normally" and not using the resume last flight function: no luck. Quote

Is this going to be the only official response what we get in regards of this matter. I do like the product but "kinda" sucks to pay 70€ on a product and completely get ignored by the company with an issue regarding that product. Edited January 20, 2020 by matchball Quote

I do like the product but "kinda" sucks to pay 70€ on a product and completely get ignored by the company with an issue regarding that product. The official line is: The foundation of the G1000 has all of Laminars underlying code in it. All the radios, airways, map drawing, etc... is stock G1000. Saso, the person who coded all the systems, simply added more features to it and customized it to reflect, on the surface, a TBM900 G1000. So, if there is a problem with the fuel estimates, due to the fact we are using Laminars fuel code, you will need to file a report with them so they can address it. For the record, this has been addressed already in several other forum posts. So we haven't ignored this topic. Quote

For the record: this does not indicate that there is an issue that has been acknowledged and adressed/pointed to, but rather pushes the fault to the customer. I think you mean to Laminar, which is valid. Thanks for helping out! Quote
