As it is now , i will probably stop flying the TBM900 even though is a great plane. It's not worth it to spend a long time programming a flightplan, preparing everything and then i crashes.
Then doing it all over again and having it crash again.

I have a Steam edition of x-plane.

Hey Jan,

Know the feeling, as I've spent all my evening trying to get a flight in. As you said

you are having problems with the TBM 900 crashing. I never had a problem with

this plane till this version update. It has not been the same since. I tried to go back

to my old version, but they've taken it down on their server. Well best of luck to ya.

I won't be flying this one till a fixed version comes out. Darn shame for a great

high dollar plane.

Cheers.... and Blue skies to ya....

All the problems people have been having, with the exception of the exception handler errors, have been fixed in the last update. What exactly is causing you problems?

Which update would that be???

Every flight that I tried to do would go along for awhile, then out of the blue it would lock up.

I do not have this problem with any of my other planes and before this 1.1.11 version I had

not had any problems with the TBM 900. Great plane, just this version has problems and I'm

not the only one as you have seen here. Like everyone else, we'd like it to be fixed or allow

us to reinstall our older version, which I tried, but it's not available . I still have my 1.1 installer.

Well such as it is, maybe it will be back to 100%

Thanks for the come back..

Not all problems come from 1 add on. Many times, they stem from a combination of 3rd party add ons. We’ve had far fewer people with issues with this latest update.  However, in saying that, without a log file, there’s not much we can do to help you.

It looks like you have some kind of AI traffic running. Try turning it off. We’re working on a fix for this, but it’s not easy considering X-Plane doesn’t give us an idea on what’s causing it.
To update, just redownload the installer in your X-aviation account, and run it. It will uninstall the old version and install the new one.

Exception handler errors, like the one you posted, are caused by AI traffic. Please disable AI traffic for now, until we figure out why it’s happening.

Hi,

Thought all was fixed now. After the upgrade i had 5 uneventful flights (All on Vatsim) but mainly from non congested airports. Tried today from EGLL with medium amount of traffic (8 deps and a few arrivals and after having towed the plane out. Booom!!! Crash!!!

The crashes will happen with AI enabled.  Either within X-Plane itself or 3rd party.  Again, please disable it until we figure out a way around it.

Hello,

I updated my TBM to 1.1.11 and it crashes when loading.  I have tried other aircraft and I don't get crashes.  I have uninstalled and re-installed twice with the same result.

Log.txt

Have you tried at different locations.  Can you try at a default airport?  Sometimes we see crashes like this when the scenery has corrupt terrain data.  The reason you're not seeing it with other add ons is because the TBM uses a ground radar.  If the crashes stop at a default airport or a different airport, the problem is almost definitely bad terrain data.

Thanks for the reply. I'll try that and let you know.
