g-kats Posted June 26, 2019 Report Posted June 26, 2019 Can we have a way of spinning the heading/alt knobs a bit quicker please? It takes forever spinning them up to FL29 or half way around the compass using the mousewheel - no other method appears to make them move any quicker. Quote
Goran_M Posted June 26, 2019 Report Posted June 26, 2019 You can left mouse click and hold the knob and drag it left or right. The speed at which you click and drag determines how fast the altitude, or any adjustment done by using the knobs, is changed. Quote
g-kats Posted June 26, 2019 Author Report Posted June 26, 2019 For me this has very little effect, maybe 200 ft after dragging it all the way across the screen. Quote
Goran_M Posted June 26, 2019 Report Posted June 26, 2019 It also depends on how close you are to the panel. The closer you are, the slower it goes. Quote
Andydigital Posted June 26, 2019 Report Posted June 26, 2019 (edited) There are two knobs, one (inner) adjusts in 100 feet increments and the other (outer) 1000ft. Edited June 26, 2019 by Andydigital Quote

Andydigital Posted June 26, 2019 Report Posted June 26, 2019 (edited) Sorry please ignore me I was half asleep when replying, I’ve got two knobs assigned on a hardware panel that uses default xplane altitude commands and they allow me to change the selected as I mentioned above. I’d forgotten that the TBM only had a single altitude knob. Edited June 26, 2019 by Andydigital Quote
