Engine throttling up to max on its own.

as soon as I move the throttle into high idle, the throttle advances to max on its own and I can't bring it back to idle. I haven't changed any key assignments and this is a new issue. Any ideas?

Is the throttle lever actually moving up/set to full power or is it just the engine power increasing, while the throttle lever stays at flight idle?

The actual throttle lever moves to max. I can bring it back down by holding "F1", but as soon as I let go it goes back to max. I'm gonna try a reinstall and see if I can fix it. I'll keep you posted. Thanks.

yeah that didn't fix it either unfortunately.

Double check assignments.  There is nothing to force the power lever up like that.  Also check the manual override (Red lever on the left of the power lever)

I know this post is kinda old but mine is doing it to, did you find out what the problem was? I tried reinstalling it to and it was still doing it

Hi, I’m now having the same problem, as soon as you move the throttle across into flight idle it moves on it’s own up to full power. Nothing I can do to stop it. Anyone have any ideas or a fix for the problem.

Did you guys check calibration. Did you remove all plugins and try again?  We haven’t had many of these, so it’s very isolated.
