sdflyer Posted July 13, 2018 Report Posted July 13, 2018 I’m getting a new PC and wondering how can I copy XP11 with ixeg installed from old PC to new PC ? Will reentering license solve the problem or I need to reinstall ixeg again?
Litjan Posted July 13, 2018 Report Posted July 13, 2018 The DRM will detect that you run gizmo from a new computer. It will prompt you to activate the 737 on that new computer, and if you are already at your maximum number of devices, it will ask you to "FREEZE" (= never use again) one of your devices. Since you are getting a new PC, you can just "freeze" the old one, that you will not be using anymore. Cheers, Jan
Ben Russell Posted July 14, 2018 Report Posted July 14, 2018 You should be able to run it after you've copied the X-Plane folder to the new machine. If there are any issues with Gizmo not working install this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=48145 1
sdflyer Posted July 14, 2018 Author Report Posted July 14, 2018 Thanks. As I transfer XP to the new PC I will no longer use old one. I have only used one device ever with XP (my old PC)
