BobFam Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 When I select the 3D panel either with the mouse or by CTRL-O and I move the mouse the panel does not stay stationary. It moves all over the place. How can I stop the panel from moving so I can use the mouse to adjust the autopilot, etc? Sorry but I am a very new user. I am used to the way the 3D panel works in FSX and FS9. Regards, Bob. Quote
Goran_M Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 Q or E will stop the crazy movement.Q will then move your view leftE moves rightAfter pressing either key, you can do what you like in the cockpit. Quote
Kesomir Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 I think ctrl+o twice does it too. Quote
UH-60 Blackhawk Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 I use W. And you can use different settings in 3D cockpit, it's just harder to do so. Quote
JGregory Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 You can also program a key to "freeze" the 3D view (temporarily) while holding the key down.Go to Settings > Joystck, Keys & EquipmentUnder the "Keys" tab you can program any key...Here is an example... 1 Quote
