I remember the first time I saw a Wilga. Was at a gliding club somewhere in Norfolk (in England), where seven of the eight days of the gliding competition were rained out. On the eighth day, the task-setters adventurously set a 50km task to fly, and everyone who attempted it ended up in fields. A fun week!

There may be a Wilga under development somewhere, who knows. When I've last spoken to a certain developer, he was in the process of deciding whether to make Wilga or other plane. Whichever he has chosen, it will be a high quality aircraft for sure, judging by his previous work. I may ask him about the decision though. We'll see, as I would like to fly one too ;)
