chrisarrow Posted July 11, 2017 Report Posted July 11, 2017 Hi there, I am having trouble updating from 737 Classic 1.0 to 1.1, when I run the installer it is coming up with an error "error creating directory C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/X-Plane 10/Resources/plugins/Gizmo64.plugin/64 the application will exit now" has anyone had this issue and know how to resolve? thanks Quote
Morten Posted July 11, 2017 Report Posted July 11, 2017 Make sure you have the latest Gizmo version installed? m Quote
chrisarrow Posted July 12, 2017 Author Report Posted July 12, 2017 thanks! I thought the installer came with Gizmo. when I try to install gizmo in the plugins folder or try deleting the old gizmo plugin it is saying I don't have permission, even though I am logged in on administrator account Quote
mgeiss Posted July 12, 2017 Report Posted July 12, 2017 You could also try right-clicking on the installer and select "run as administrator". This can help despite the fact that you are already logged in as an admin. Quote

You have some folder permission issues you need to sort out on your PC. Quote
chrisarrow Posted July 14, 2017 Author Report Posted July 14, 2017 even if I try right click and run as administrator it still doesn't work Quote
