Rayeus Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 In the NG, the MCP has a speed intervene option. For the 300, how would you achieve something similar? Would you have to go through the FMC? Quote

This comes with modern avionics (i.e the 737 Next Generation). You can switch to VS or FLCH mode for dialing desired speed while climbing/descending. You can also edit speeds on the FMC which is not exactly VNAV speed intervention. Quote
frumpy Posted October 3, 2016 Report Posted October 3, 2016 I think I saw a speed intervene dataref. Just change the value and see what happens Quote
VIZE_CZ Posted October 4, 2016 Report Posted October 4, 2016 Your flap settings limits the speed when in VNAV. There is no speed intervention on classics. Quote

KirMi Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 I don't know whether I remember right, but I saw these buttons (SPD INTV & ALT INTV) in some Lufthansa classics? Michael Quote

sizziano Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 Having different avionics options like the FF757/767 would be a nice feature to add in the future. Quote
