Goran_M Posted September 20, 2016 Author Report Posted September 20, 2016 Still deciding whether I want to make the interior smell like used leather and plastic or that "new plane" smell. Quote

The smell of brand new plastic can be very unpleasant and lead to headaches on 4hr+ flights at Mach 0.67, you know? Some dust on top bezels of various instruments, used leather seats and even shallow scratches is something majority would still find more cozy overall, i think Quote

That's all that's needed to make it cozy??? Some dust and a few scratches on some used leather seats? Gotta be faster than that, Radek. I did that (and a lot more) months ago. Note: Some mesh shown is not accurate and has since been fixed. Disregard the "shine". That's a specular issue that will also be fixed, depending on how it looks with the exterior around the seats and cockpit. 5 Quote

dgall Posted January 22, 2017 Report Posted January 22, 2017 Looks great, can't wait to finally see a proper Citation in XP. I'm also a fan of the "used" look of aircraft. Dust, scratches, little touches to make it seem like it's been loved before. Quote
rcfreak07 Posted January 22, 2017 Report Posted January 22, 2017 it seemes, the only missing thing is that huge plastic box :-) Its a pleasure you watched my video hope you liked it. @Goran_M If I can help with the development. Send me a PM, I flew the CJ1+ and could provide some material and/or testing Quote
dgall Posted March 24, 2017 Report Posted March 24, 2017 I find myself coming back to these screenshots every month or two. Seriously... I cannot wait. It seems the only comparatively detailed bizjets are inside P3D/FSX but the camera controls in that software make me want to bang my head against a wall. Any more screenshots to share? 1 Quote
Goran_M Posted March 24, 2017 Author Report Posted March 24, 2017 Actually, yes. I've been dividing my time between the Saab and Citation. This last week was Citation week. I sent Jim and Cameron an in sim screenshot of the panel for QA feedback on colours and layout. Feedback was "positive", but I want to make some small adjustments, then I'll post "something", probably this weekend. If not this weekend, it'll be within a few days after that. 3 Quote
CaptCWGAllen Posted June 19, 2017 Report Posted June 19, 2017 Looks fabulous - very realistic. Looks like it is using PBR as well? cheers Peter Quote
rcfreak07 Posted June 21, 2017 Report Posted June 21, 2017 I hope you find a nice solution for using the autopilot panel in the real thing you do not even look down while using it to see the set values but in a sim that's a lot different Quote

rcfreak07 Posted June 21, 2017 Report Posted June 21, 2017 Additional Scroll wheel clickspots on Speed altitude and heading on the display could also do it [emoji14] Saves two more clicks Quote
Goran_M Posted June 21, 2017 Author Report Posted June 21, 2017 Already about 6 steps ahead of you. Laminar have been very accommodating with extra manipulator types that make things easier for the customers. 1 Quote
rcfreak07 Posted June 21, 2017 Report Posted June 21, 2017 @Goran_M Perfect Any way I can help you with the project? I flew the CJ1+ which has pretty similar Systems and avionics. Quote
bayareaaviation Posted June 21, 2017 Report Posted June 21, 2017 @Goran_M I'm actually doing a photohoot with a CJ1 in a couple hours, and if you need any photos to help with this project I can help. Close enough to a C550 and as @rcfreak07 mentioned they are both fairly similar. Quote
Goran_M Posted June 21, 2017 Author Report Posted June 21, 2017 If you can provide photos or videos, send me a PM. And by photos, I mean close ups of every corner of the aircraft you can fit a camera or smartphone into. 2 Quote

Nothing to show yet. I'm literally working 16-18 hour days/7 days a week, on the DC3 update. But we're definitely working to get these out in the quickest possible time, without compromising quality. As soon as I have something to show of the Citation or the Saab, I promise I will post it here and on Facebook. 6 Quote
Iridium Posted April 14, 2018 Report Posted April 14, 2018 I desperately need this, the DC-3, and now the TBM900. But like always, I'm happy to wait. Hope all is well. Regards, Happy Return Customer 1 Quote
