Version 2.0

Merrill C. Meigs Field Airport (IATA: CGX, ICAO: KCGX) was a single strip airport that operated from December 1948 until March 2003. It was built on Northerly Island, the man-made peninsula that was also the site of the 1933–1934 Century of Progress in Chicago. The airport achieved international notoriety when Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley ordered city crews to bulldoze the runway at night, and without the 30-day advance warning required by FAA regulations.

I have trouble seeing the props and buildings of the airport. Did I do something wrong? Did I installed it incorrectly? Please Help.

I know that ORBX are about to release this airfield so I downloaded yours so i could make a comparison. I was amazed to see that a long list of errors presented themselves on load up in overlay editor, essentially .pol and .lin files missing (when clearly they are in the objects folder). Has anyone else noticed this. I opened your file in Overlay Editor, and after some looking found a syntax error in the files. The good news is that the flight in XP10.42 is fine, just the full great effect will not be experienced. Let me know if i can help.

You should release this as payware.

Not before I download it.

Still works great in XP11.36r2 with some minor fixes done in World Editor.

Thank you very much to give new life to Meigs Field ! :)

Are there any plans to update this to XP11.55?  I'm a long time user of Micosoft sims, but fairly new to X-Plane, so I don't know how to use or modify aircraft or scenery in X-Plane yet.
If it's not going to be updated, could someone please list what modifications need to be made to get it to work in 11.55?  (I'm referring to EZFox's comments from 2019 regarding World Editor)
