I don't see why not but you need the FMC to calculate some basic takeoff data though otherwise you will have to do some manual calculations on V1, V2, etc...Just set the MCD to show the HSI/VOR and tune your Nav 1 radio to fly the VOR's.

First off, great job on this plane!! I had some neat things happen on my frist few flights ive never seen before. 1. During the flight I had a duct overheat failure and the temp in the plane dropped to 0 Celcius...I had to descend and land immediately. 2. this was just more neat that anything...on approach into KSFO, one of the digital speed digits on the MCP started to blink and display a weird value like an 8 and a 0 mixed together. Just totally awesome looking to see how everything doesn't work perfectly all the time and little things like this pop up just like in a real plane.

haha I had my pitchfork and torch ready!!! I have hardly been able to concentrate at work just watching 737 videos on the net over and over waiting to fly this wonderful bird. I have watched the ixeg 737 KPHX departure video at least 10 times this week. This is the pinnacle for me on X-plane. THis is the plane I bought x-plane for 3 years ago to be able to fly.

I agree! I think Tim you are definitely the minority...maybe the only one! I have completely cleared my weekend so I can fly this baby all weekend long! I have been waiting for this 737 since I bought xplane in 2013 and saw it on the development page. This has been one of the most highly anticipated projects for me so I am all ready for it! I will be up until the late hours friday night/sat morning to see what time it gets released. I will have my credit card ready!!!!

Imminent release posted almost 3 months ago...IXEG, I appreciate your efforts but, you guys look like you do an amazing job at marketing and keeping people on the hook...perhaps you should change your day jobs to writing season ending plots for network TV shows since you sure do know how to keep people on the edge of their seats??

is the FPS o n this comparable to the jetstream 32 or the CRJ? I get great frames on those aircraft. the 727 takes a hit on my system.

so if I went gtom a 680 2GB to a 680 4GB I would be able to turn up more eye candy with little hit?

Would I see much benefit going from a 680 GTX OC to a new 690 in X-plane 10?? Any increase at all??
