  1. First, I do not expect anything serious about the AC in XP12, as it was not designed for use in XP12. With that out the way.... I realize that all the patch is ONLY intended to do is 'new rain (but not the right procedure to clean it), fixed the GNS430 black screen and fixed the front landing gear doors.'. Not expecting much, but my question is how accurate is the flying/handling characteristics of the AC in XP12? Is the AC still a valid representation of the original release. Again, not expecting it to be so but just curious. TY.
  2. TY for informative reply.
  3. Quick question and most likely one asked before. Is is possible to run two copies of the same DLC on the same PC/OS/Hardware without licensing issues or conflicting state saves, etc.? Either under two installed copies of XP12 or one XP12 and one XP11. Looking at the SR20 and the IXEG 737. If it is no issue, then do I just run the downloaded installers a second time and select the second install location? Also have a general licensing question. If my PC cannot access the Internet and Gizmo64 cannot go online to check the license status, then how long with the product function for, from last license renewal? May sound silly or even paranoid but part my reason for reverting back to X-Plane 12 from MSFS 2024 is the peace of mind from not having the requirement to be online all the time and how it conflicts with my unreliable T-Mobile 5G Wireless. Just thinking of a worst-case scenario when it comes to X-Aviation products licensing renewal. TY
  4. Well, gave in and purchased the IXEG 737. The 737 won out against my shortlist of the Q400, Flight Factor, Rotate and even ToLiss (already have their A321). Also have experience of PMDG, Fenix and Maddog X from MSFS, which helps to gauge realistic expectations. Understand where you are coming from and that from a customer's perspective there is an increased element of risk when dealing with smaller developers over time. As a customer it is just hard to estimate the amount of risk at times. Also understand that the 737 is not going to see significant development but as a mature product at heart, it would still be nice to see it remain valid as time marches on. And for at least me, it is nice to see regular communication on development, even if there is little to say. Lets me know the heart is still beating at the other end, even if slowly. Reminded of the quote “Assumptions are the termites of relationships.” ― Henry Winkler. And those assumptions usually come about in the absence of facts. Anyway, initial impressions are very favorable and I am looking forward to what looks like many hours of satisfaction from all your hard work. In 2025, it seems pretty sterling and valid in light that it was first released in 2016. Thank you.
  5. You missed the whole point of my post. 'Constant updates' was not the concern and you assumed that was my point. Relevant updates and the update history/patten was my concern, so I could evaluate my potential investment's long-term viability and potential. My concern was that if I make a purchase, how would the future development of the product be, considering that development of X-Plane 12 itself does not stand still and there are still bugs (according to the extensive reading I have done). Being a heavy user of flight sims since v8 of X-Plane and FS. I have amassed a ton of expensive pay ware DLC that collects digital dust. Much of it because some has just become technically old. But also because some developer's circumstances or priorities changes and the support for certain products slows down or stops. And then others just disappear or go quiet and the customer base is left in the dark one way or another. I am not insinuating such here in any fashion. More a case of a critical need to researching certain developers, the support, etc. on top of the product. And 'my prerogative' that you talk about is more a case of expressing the results of such research on forums, YouTube and the Internet. Even Q8Pilot, who gave me a very favorable impression of the 737 through many videos released a recent video called 'IXEG 737 - Grounded Forever or Ready for Takeoff?' just three months ago. Even while I type this, I am so tempted to purchase but just concerned as to where will the 737 be in, say a year, not needing constant updates but for the 737 to be kept current for current XP12 and bugs fixed. The intention is not to stir things up but at the same time is it too much to ask or express concern?
  6. Any update on status?
  7. Nov, 2025 and same issue in same AC using latest version of AviTab (0.7.1). Any progress?

    X-Aviation's Black Friday Weekend Sale

Your second reply served a purpose and the cause of clarity. Thank you.
  9. Question - It is Nov 2025 now and it seems the latest installable versions of the affected products are still to be updated. Well, at least the SR20? Issue still exists with latest downloads and latest ORBX TE GB North. But fix seems to have saved the day. Thank you.

TY for replying but it served no purpose.

    X-Aviation's Black Friday Weekend Sale

Does X-Aviation still have Black Friday sales?
  12. Was looking for for the patch changelog for the SR20. Found the changelog up to v2.01 but no changelog for v2.02. Is is available and is there a link? TY
  13. Have been considering this AC for quite a while and seeing how it costs $85 (am use to paying such amounts for Fenix, PMDG, Rotate and others), I recently did my research which included various forums, reviews, etc. Not taking any sides, but just being objective about it as a practical XP12 purchase at this price. Bottom line is I feel a little concern about it as an XP12 DLC investment, based upon many concerns raised here and elsewhere plus the long timeline of minimal events. Wonder how many other outsider potential buyers hesitant, in light of the current situation.
  14. Just attempted to install Maxx FX on my Windows PC. Used the latest installer downloaded from the store. Once I provided the installer my login credentials and clicked ok, I was informed by BitDefender that the installer was trying to send my password unencrypted. The action was blocked. Only by allowing an exception, was I able to complete installation. First time I have come across many on-line installer doing this with my credentials. Is this right?
