    i would think that one major + with an ssd would be xplanes loading time . It would be nice to have it load faster

    Is this an actual series was a dc3 actualy capable of 30,000 feet . I googled it on wikapedia and it showed a service ceiling of 23,000 ft also instant depressurisation at that altitude would have caused just about everyone in the cabin to be ripped out and there should have been a alot more wind and objects flying around in the cabin . I like the idea of shooting through the phone but the drag and friction would have probably dropped the velocity of the bullet to near nothing .

    Nope I just checked and all I can find are alot of products to make me a Better man LOL any how I have been in touch with Tom and attached a copy of my original Reciept for IP 9 and he said he will Talk with Nicolas tommorow . I may have been that I purchased It without signing in to my Account and due to a an email change its going to a dead email. Larry

    I payed the full price I did not know about the 10 update . I sent an email to Howdy reguarding this . I know that the org has never sent me any update info and I have always had to get ahold of Tom directly for previose updates Larry

    Tom Curtis has released inside passage for Xplane 10 http://www.scenery4x...ssage/Home.html. at last the roads are back around Vancouver and he has also updated it to make use of new features in XP10

    Mike Hotel have you tried updating your graphics Card may be try a AMD hd6800 series or higher. My processor is an AMD 3.2 gig PhenomIIx6 with a amd 6790 GRAPHICS CARD and 16 gigs of ram . I know that amount of Ram is irrelevent because of the 32 bit 3 gig limit But I have alot of my settings set up including textures set to ultra and have never had it crash

    When are people going to realize that Imacs and macs in general are not gaming computers and lets face it each new version of any game tends to push the threshold of Hardware . For the price you payed for your Imac You could have bought a couple of High performance PC,s that would offer way more upgrade possibilities . I would compare it to complaning that your smart car couldnt beat a Camaro off the line . Well I guess I have just picked a fight with a bunch of Macaholics but thats the way I see it and I personally am glad that they haven't dumbed down Xplane 10 just so it will be playable on an IMac or Macbook

    AIRCRAFT HITS FOUR BUILDINGS This is tough to watch. It just shows the dangers of attending these events. Air Show Disaster - Amazing photo shows great detail. The pilot at low level had no control over his aircraft. It narrowly misses a crowd gathered for the air show and slams into four buildings. One can only imagine the horror of the occupants inside those buildings.

    Here are some updated shots of My repaint of the Falco I have redone chrome textures changed the color of the the cockpit added more detail and lines such as landing gear Brakes and and shading also The pilot textures have been redone Also the nav lights have been redone so there are no halos more realistic and the landing light texture has been replaced with new bulb. I have also redone the night textures to corespond

    For the price of what you are trying to do you could have one top end multi core proccessor and an AMD 7970 graphics card and run three or more monitors in Eyefinity . Is what you are trying to do even possible?

    Had a little fun and did a Ferrari red paint for the Falco it includes my luxury cockpit note That the interior is now tan . It would be a sin to change Toms leather textures so I just recolored them.

    With aircraft such as th e Falco you can just make a new copy of it in a different subfolder and rename it and overwrite the original files with your newly painted files . also for aircraft such as the RV default airicraft . get plane maker to create the paint file and this can be left int the RV file or repackaged as its own folder with the afc file see photos below

    I agree with you Leen I never did get into repaints for FSX FS9 but Xplane is a very simple process . I dont have any high end paint programs I just use the Gimp and Paint dot Net . It would also be great if Cameron could create a space on the Xpilot server for uploading repaints and such for Xaviation products . I don't have the DC3 but I have been having fun with repainting the Falco. Larry
