Ok sorry but everything I said above will apply to Xplane 9 also

One thing you might try is going to the weather settings and decrease your visibility to 20 miles or less also minimize clouds and if you have road traffic and AI aircraft enabled disable them . Although your system is above the minimum requirements it is nowhere near being optimal for Xplane 10 so you will have to sacrifice some visuals to gain performance especialy with an aircraft the CRJ .

What happens if I dont have a master file to work from if I save a copy as PNG and save it back after editing its still going from Lossy to lossyer to lossyest . I tried this and xplane still refuses to use file I can delete the dds file and use the PNG file and it works fine .

I was trying to redo the panel textures for the default beech baron I opened it with paint.net modified it and resaved it . It saved as a DDS file but now Xplane will not recognize it . Do I actually need photoshop to work with DDS files or or is there a way to save it so that xplane recognizes it ?

is there any way that you could do a quick update to gizmo so that DRM and registration are handled the same as the Falco ?

I agree with the water landings but I think this is somthing we could be bugging Austin and Ben about now lets face it you open most float planes in any more than a 1 foot wave hight and they flip . I usualy like flying FSX for floatplanes . As for The 3d pits yes I would also like to see less aircraft But better quality aircraft and the ability to download the others from the Xplane web site as needed as it is now if you remove factory aircraft from Xplane it si just added back during updates. also I would like to see better land classes right now the whole of the Fraser valley is covered in trees Also lightning strike simulations and solid ground objects so if you hit a tree or a building you come to a sudden stop with all the physics to go along with that . If you have ever played ROF you know what I mean And MS flight has had this for years. As for Chris I think we need food simulation added so he can simulate eating cool ranch doritos that way he might be less inclined to dream about all these dardevil stunts and have more time to create awsome scenery

Heres a couple more pictures of a Falco repaint I am working on It was Reserve Grand Champion Plans-Built at Oshkosh 2007 http://www.seqair.com/Hangar/Nutt/Oshkosh2007/Oshkosh.html . It still needs a lot of work cockpit textures and clean up but I will upload it to the file library when I get it just right .
