I have had this issue too. My original fix was to use a different browser, Firefox to login in. Once I had logged in, I changed my password again and was able to go back to using it on my regular browser

True but you only need it to add the SIDS/STARS, you can then switch it off and use the main MCDU

You can also use XFMC to insert SID/STARs to the flight plan. Works fine, you can then just use the A350 FMC for the rest. Not heard from anyone yet that has been disappointed with this plane after buying it. It is a work of art and when it gets upgraded to the Pro version I think it will be regarded as one of the X-Plane classics.

I picked it up yesterday and this is one amazing plane. Significantly the fps are very good as well, despite all the screens of information in the cockpit. She flies beautifully and the the interface for the touchscreen is very good. You can interact directly with the cockpit screens or use a pop up screen. The exterior modeling is also very nice. Few things missing at the moment but they have been up front and honest about them. No SIDS STARS in the CDU or TOD calculations but these I believe will all be added in the Pro version. Certainly for a real intriguing plane to fly

Another thing to do, if you haven't already is make sure the Compress Textures box is checked. It made a big difference to me.

I think there will be a lot of people that buy it and complain about it, mainly because they don't understand exactly what X-Plane is. And yes the FSX trolls will be doing their level best to upset the apple cart because they are trying to hold onto an ancient piece of software that even with Dovetail is not going in the right direction. However, from those people that do buy X-Plane from Steam, there will be a percentage that will get hooked on what it has to offer, people that may have never considered a sim before but really like what they are getting. The hope is that it is a good percentage and that it does significantly increase the X-Plane user base.

But you already have X-Plane, so whats the problem? Nobody is forcing you to use Steam, its just another option that opens the door to a huge audience of potential customers. Most of whom, like myself, do not have a problem with Steam

I created a second X-Plane version for the 10.30 Beta and removed the Fly with Lua plugin and now the black artefacts have gone. I was using the Raleigh scattering mods script along with the lights script so I suspect it might have been one of them causing the problem. SkyMaxx is still installed and looking great in 10.3

EDIT - I have managed to install by creating a new user account and installing from that. Seems to be working fine but not sure why it would not install via my main account I have just downloaded Skymaxx Pro. When I click the installer nothing happens at all. I have down this also with the activity monitor open and notice I get a process name called report crash coming up when I run the installer. My specs are Mac Pro 5,1 Radeon 7950 Card OSX 10.9 Would appreciate some help on this, is there another way I can install, manually?

When you purchased you will have received the serial. When you start load the 777 you will be asked to enter the serial and it will be checked online. Interested as to why you have a demo version, didn't think that there was a demo version.

Unfortunately, for some people, their entire lives appear to revolve around release dates for flight sim products. I, too am eagerly awaiting the Saab, but unlike some, my fingers are not hovering over the refresh button awaiting news. Release when it's ready, and I, like most sane flight simmers will happily buy it.

I am actually experiencing the same problem. Flying from EGJJ in with real weather, ie pretty cold, I keep losing the left engine at or around cruise altitude. I am using 15000ft. I have been careful to keep the EGT and Torque within limits, but so far it has happened three times under silmilar conditions. I have had to push the right engine to the limits to get her home but that does not fail. Any ideas on this, is it related to icing or general cold conditions
