Ha, not so many creepie crawlies either I bet! I finally had the lemon lime and betters icypole, very nice! Even my kid loved it, a worry that. How do u put up with the petrol prices???!!! Sheesh, $2.10 a liter, even with our exchange rate it's crazy expensive. Good job it's only a tiny island - not many hills either :-)

Of course G! And ask T if there are any other unusual tastes to sample over here. I tried the 'world famous in NZ' L&P lemonade, but couldn't really taste the P bit, sort of like flat lemon drink, nevertheless refreshing. My only criticism of NZ is its town names- they all look the same after awhile. Whakarewarewa or Whakamarama, I have no Idea where I've been!

Really enjoying the trip, wow it's a very big island, it took a little over 5 hrs to get from Auckland to Smelly Rotorua. Here is an amazing NZ delicacy- ginger beer icypole!!! Really good too. Loving the crazy NZ accents, some really extreme versions. We were chatting to a lovely lady from Nilson before I realized she was really from NELSON....

Ooh, I didn't know that they were already working on 3! Can't wait to watch that vid. but flight models in 2 are bad, real bad. Spose it's not worth the effort, as you rarely fly for very long!

ooh yeah baby, that's got the night look I like! Ha, so imagine a whole 747-200 done that way. Really nice guys. I spoilt myself with a 'Traser' military watch a yr ago, it's got the cool radium luminescent dots on it, no need for it to absorb light to work, quite bright actually, a really well built watch. Bloody heavy tho.

thanks for that Andy, hadn't seen that one. Ha, a sim that can be flown well with a game pad is called a game. A game that uses gameplay elements from an ancient N64 classic like pilotwings is called 'unoriginal' and a 'flop'. As I saw somewhere...it's too simplistic/toy like for the simmers, and not exciting enough or original for the gamers. The only reason it might have a brief period of remote success is its freebie status. Then the tumbleweeds will take over..

Good u can laugh, I know Theo takes any Nz jokes very seriously! But seriously, on the weekend, I was talking to some farming relatives last week, they were raving about all the nz sheep shearers, how good and quick they were. And they are so gentle on them, no nicks. Almost as though...nah I won't say it :-)

Hehe, you sound straight from Avsim! Your fridge is too loud now as your CPU fan is no longer imploding on the load caused by fsx and drowning out your fridge noise. And the gpu fans are clearly much quieter..

That is brilliant! What a way to fake a reflection in blender too. Nice touch. Unusually, I'm also a science fiction fan :-) Maybe that could be your trademark, put a tiny bobba image in some hidden part of your planes. I should say many planes, you look pretty darned good at this.

Nice ck! I remember the frustration- it looks so good, but has a 5-6fps hit. Then it pops up too late as well. But In reality, are the central grass areas that long? Haven't paid the lawnmower man enough :-) I really liked the earliest edge planting, that really is enough, maybe a touch less height.

I think you are onto something, as that is what I was doing too and am not happy with the worsened fps and look now.

Ha, it's not my real birthday for a few more months, but sadly (??) the age is right! It's easy to remember at least (after 43 your memory starts declining, hence 44 being handy)

That's great! Glad u found it helpful. The colour matches nicely. Yes, I found that xplane 9 drew it quite late in any case. Now build me some good clouds :-(

Maybe I'm spoilt with beta7 or something is wrong with my update- I updated my DEMO version and don't like the flat, cirrus looking cumulus clouds. It's like I've lost a third of the beauty of xplane 10. Am I wrong? Show me a pic of some dark, brooding, varied clouds. I couldn't get one.

Just saw this at Orbx forums. I found it pretty funny myself. Nice tech, but..butt...what are those 3 guys doing! Nothing. As I said in their commments, I can't wait for the TSA body search animations. Yes, I am sick! in a nice way I hope.... Or the ultimate in-flight feedback for your flying style - barf bags at the ready.
