  1. Augsburg Airways was partner of Lufhansa for nearly 20 years. Then Lufthansa terminated the cooperation in 2012. It's sad. Nearly 20 years? It's indifferent for the management of Lufthansa ..., what a "likeable" airline ...
  2. Leen, thank you very much, very nice livery - . Best greetings Dirk
  3. Hi Vincent, yes --- no, possible with nice weather and good winds and a B 17 used in the Pacific War (with Tokyo-Tanks). 3500 miles ok, 3700 miles ok? and 4000 not impossible. Best greets Dirk
  4. And here you can find. an offical Training-"Video" from second world war:
  5. Hallo Vincent, you like the DC 3, then you'll like the B 17 too, it's a great historical plane with historical cockpit. And the B 25 from Khmsin too, this plane is phantastic. Try the B 17, you'll not lost any time. Best greets Dirk
  6. It's look very pretty.

  8. Yes Vincent, the LES cockpit layout is an "old" one, very interesting is the Autopilot, the historical "Sperry". More information about the autopilot you can find here: dc3airways.com/technical/flying_fsx_sperry.htm Greets Dirk
  9. OK, I'am waiting for the LES / X-Aviation DC-3 too. The "crazy" compass makes it impossible, to fly it with x-plane 10.22 - 64 bit. But there is a DC-3 for "small money", with a modern cockpit and the chance to operate it with the Bendix KLN90B by Dennis Pruefer. You find it at: http://store01.prostores.com/servlet/x-planestore/Detail?no=254 The graphics aren't up to date, but the flight characterists are, really a nice plane! Best greets Dirk
  10. Leen, the next 10 will come, I hope so - -, your liveries are really phantastic! Best greets Dirk
  11. Thank you Vincent, dc3airways is somewhere as an "old-men-flymen-club" with hundredhouthands hours of fly-practice and we are glad to "Say Hallo and a good flight" to every new member. Best greets Dirk
  12. Hallo Vincent, try the settings, they are performal for all situations. The best cruise is - for me - between 8500 and 10000 feet. And - thank you - for your interest of DC-3. It's really the "Gooney Bird", and flying it makes fun. See you forward at "dc3airways.com", best greets, Dirk
  13. Leen, !!! It's number 19 of 29 - !!! Thank you very much !!! Best greets Dirk
  14. Leen, thank you for all eightteen - they are great !!! And I hope, you 'll make a 25 or 29. Best greets Dirk
  15. The "Best Practice" says: 60 + X percent for the throttles or 30 inches of Manifold Pressure, and 2000 + X for rpms. X means a little bit more (2 - 5 percent) is ok, 165 knots are possible. A further reduction can be made for longer flight at cruise, Props are reduced to 1750 rpms, power is reduced to 25 inches of Manifold Pressure. (Infos from "myvirtualhanger.com" by Heinz D.) The infos are ok, I validated it in hundred of hours flying time. Best Greets Dirk
  16. Hallo Vincent, the DC3 have a maximum range of 1500 miles (PW R-1830-92 Twin Wasp or Wright Cyclone R1820-G2). Real flightplanes for the DC-3 you can find at dc3airways.com. Best greets Dirk
  17. Wow!!! Phantastic!!!
  18. Leen, very nice, waiting for upload - .
  19. Leen, OLT - that's phantastic. Where can I download it? Best thanks and greetings Dirk EDIT: Answer: At the org ...
  20. Cameron, thank you for the informations.
  21. Thank you Cameron, ok, my problems are known, but in other words - you have no ressources - that's no help for the best tracking record system. Best greets Dirk Former IT-Specialist an Quality-Manager
  22. Hallo Cameron, I'm not happy. I paid 95 USD for the LES DC-3 and the Saab 340, the first one has a crazy compass and for the second one I cannot use the condition levers with my both throttle quadrants and I have blackouts with the insturments. 95 USD isn't small money for an pensioner. I think your customer have an right, that you inform about a timeline. All what I hear from X-Aviation for the DC-3 is, "very soon" or "it shouldn't be long" and this isn't correct. You distribute here two "higher-price"-products - please inform your customer correct in time - they paid the price without delay. Best greets Dirk
  23. Same problem by me - Saitek throttle, the left condition lever works, the right one don't. Thanks.
