trust me, anything that is available, i've seen, it's the back walls i haven't seen yet Also, this is a test plane, not a real operational 787 cockpit

it's a true nightmare T.T finding photos of the 787 is so hard nowadays, especially for the back of the plane. thankfully, i managed pretty well in the end, but don't expect any more VCs from me.

Well, i'll try my best, no guarantees, since it is my first project, but i will try my best!
-
yeah, i updated the paint

Well, if qantas unveils their 787 livery, then yes, i'll paint it, but i can only make a livery after the airline reveals their paint, because otherwise i might miss details that are not shown in renders

Okay, so i noticed the other day that x-simreviews posted a post about how x-planers don't pay close enough attention to details. and i think that he is absolutely right. it's about time that we as a community started educating ourselves on what is good or not. Many people say that the 777 by rammzess and phil was good, but it still needs work, same for devs like heinz or peter hager. I definitely think that it's time for people to start thinking about how they can make a plane better, mostly by giving the criticism that developers so desperately need. I encourage anyone who reads this, to go inside their payware aircraft folders, and look at each plane in detail, comparing it to as many photos as you can, then providing a list underneath this post about what they found wrong with it, then, send that list to the developers, and kindly ask them if they can fix these problems. If everyone does this, then i'm sure eventually we'll get better planes.

that awkward moment when i already have 5 different 767-300ERs with winglets readily available at flightsim.com XD good attempt though, you'll want to re-size the winglets so they fit though

good job!

I flew the China Southern 787 while doing cross-wind testing on the plane at Kai Tak. Beautiful livery, simply Beautiful
-
the four finished liveries so far Air India and ANA are getting tweaked and will be done soon. ANA's domestic configuration will also be released soon China southern does NOT yet have an interior, Air India's interior is almost done

oh lol, i meant like it has taken root in this forum XD as in it's been placed here and it has gotten a base now XD also, hampster, I just place a transparent object over top of the actual fuselage, you can see how it's done
-
Yeah, i thought you were suggesting that i was comepletely forgetting the 787 and abandoning it...
-
in that case, i apologize, it's just that the way you worded the statement about hte fokker seemed rather strange, using words like "dumping the 787" i thought it was meant to be insulting. Either way, sorry about that. i've been cautious about what others are saying here, so i'm a little nervous when i read things that may come off wrong. Sorry for singling you out like that.

Thank you Cameron Goran, i know you probably don't like me very much, but i kinda get the feeling that you're launching personal attacks on me. please, refrain from doing so, if you have a dispute, i'd be glad to settle it via the messaging system.

that rant was based on exterior deficiency, not technique. Plus this technique i learned from the SSJ, (one of my favorite planes) not the 777.

A demonstration of decal usage on the 787, creating hi-definition small parts. This technique is used by some of the greatest designers, including ramzzess, and allows for great, sharp, retina-display level images to be placed on your plane.
