File Name: Boeing 767-200/200ER Paintkit File Submitter: Michael_Chang File Submitted: 06 Apr 2013 File Category: Heavy Metal X-Plane Version(s): X-Plane 9 Livery For: Click Here For Aircraft Hey guys, been a while since i've uploaded here, but i'm here to deliver a nice little present for you This is the 767-200/200ER paintkit, by Philip Foglar. Following our agreement regarding his works, I have permission to upload this file, so long as he is credited. Nothing in this paintkit has been modified from the original, so much of the stuff is still in the FSX format, except all the .psds and the full-length PSD Features: Full PSD with multi-layer settings for painting with ease includes dirt lines, rivets and fine details blank models of every single 767-200/200ER uploaded here Engine and wing .psd files for those who want to edit those PLEASE NOTE, THE FUSELAGE LANDING LIGHT SPLASHES ARE A DIFFERENT SIZE IN X-PLANE THAN THEY ARE IN fsx, SO DON'T USE THE PROVIDED LIT MAPS INSIDE THE PAINTKIT, INSTEAD, USE THE WHITE SET OF LIT MAPS PROVIDED IN THE ORIGINAL FILE DOWNLOAD. I encourage the production of liveries for this plane, seems we don't have a lot, despite their being a huge selection of airlines to choose from, and quite a few fictional ones as well. I'll be uploading the 767-400ER paintkit shortly Cheers ~Michael~ Click here to download this file

PMDG officially developing for X-Plane
Michael_Chang replied to AnonymousUser68's topic in General Discussion
if PMDG came to X-plane with the 737 NGX series, the EADT 737 wouldn't stand a chance in it's current state. it would be out-sold by a lower-poly higher-definition and ultra-realistic model with a VC. IF PMDG comes to XP, then EADT is practically finished. unless they opt to merge. -
3D Shots and Renders - showoff what you have been working on.
Michael_Chang replied to Kieran's topic in 3D Shop
In the works on the FSX side of things. Once I get a new laptop, the production on the boeing 787-9 will be put into action This is just a comparison of the two aircraft tires, the Boeing 787-9 has slightly larger tires and a longer bogey to cope with the weight of the bigger jet, and to help with the takeoff, because the plane is longer. Overall though, i think that the 787-9 has a better all around wing-to-fuselage ratio, it looks more proportionate -
my mistake, i meant a NEW computer, macbook pro 15 inch high-end model
-
a quick update, it appears that i may be getting my laptop back this summer so to give you a quick notification, here are three shots of the 787-9 being worked on right now in FSX!

okay. It's become quite evident, that some of the liveries uploaded to this site that are of my 767, are converted versions of their FSX counterparts. Now although none of the FSX painters have any issues with it yet, it would be prefered if everyone who posts such liveries credit the original designers as the creators of the paint. This is a list of Authors who permit conversions of their paints: Brandon Henry Philip Foglar Stephen Groom Stefan Bree Other painters should be consulted first. Understand, it's totally fine to convert those paints, since they were literally MADE for this jet, but please, give proper credits when proper credits are due. ~Michael~

This is the Paintkit file for the 767-400ER It is also available at AVSIM.com This paintkit features no modification from the original paintkit by Philip Foglar. Following our agreement on the usage of his paints, this upload is permitted. The paintkit features a detailed set of .PSD files including a full aircraft .psd. It also features: LIT mapping that should be compatible with the XP model details such as rivets, dirt lines and panelling along the whole body of the aircraft Wing .psd files that include three different wing styles found on the 767-400ER Engine .psd files with LIT maps Note: this .psd does NOT contain the LIT maps needed for making red beacon splashes on the top and bottom of the aircraft, for those, you must refer to the original paint files to guide you. This plane isn't flown by many operators, however a few nice liveries for this jet would be great let's see what all of this group's painters can churn out -

the 767 or the 777? if it's my plane, then startup should be detailed in the manual
-
... KWOW... you actually had us worried that this project would be cancelled!!!!!! But I like the devotion to the prank
-
I must say... every passing day, I long to once again model the points of my 787. The building process of the plane truly was a wonderful hobby. Understand however, that we continue to push forward right now, even though we are literally trying to bulldoze a cliff. Inch by inch, we will break through, and before you know it, we'll be back in business, working harder than ever to bring you all a nice freeware jet.
-
this is quite sad news... it really is a pity that this project has to be cancelled.

LOL this was an april fools joke

"All good things must come to an end." Shortly, we will be abandoning the 787 project, due to the evident time issues and insufficient equipment to work with. We apologize for this, however it has become evident that working in these conditions is just too hard. the proposed projects would be developed if the equipment and time constraints were lifted" It is with great sadness that the rest of the team abandoned the very well expected release of the add-on. *Note* Beta testers of the 787 are NOT allowed to redistribute the 787 under any circumstances, tolerance is not given if the boat is rocked. What types of aircraft have you flown?
Michael_Chang replied to Orcair's topic in General Discussion
CRJ-200 (Delta) 777-200LR (Delta)(Air Canada) 777-300ER (Air Canada) 767-300ER (Air Canada) a319 (Air Canada)(Skyservice, now defunct) 737-800 (American Airlines) Gulfstream G550 (Private, piloted by myself and a friend of mine) as you can see, i don't have a lot of variety in my flights -
oh, and on another note, if you'd like, i can talk to my friend for help, her dad is an A320 pilot for Air Canada, and i'm quite sure he can grab a few close up photos for you

really? because hiroshi just told me that he told you guys to stop because what you were doing was illegal

ILLEGAL USAGE OF FORBIDDEN JETS
Michael_Chang replied to Michael_Chang's topic in General Discussion
I know, however, it is my understanding that he is DISTRBUTING planes for his training group -
i'm asking hiroshi.

OKAY! I HAVE COME TO OFFER SOME INSIGHT I know it's really late, but hey, if you need a bit of extra, this stuff should be great, especially for gears 1: the A320 family is extremely complex, firstly, good luck 2. I have found, that the best way to build an aircraft is using photos, NOT blueprints. What I did for my Fokker 100, was I made a cylinder in planemaker, the length of the actual jet, then used that as a scaler to help me match background photos of the actual jet to build over top of 3. DO NOT USE BLUEPRINTS. Blue prints are extremely inaccurate and never give a proper view of the aircraft, use ONLY PHOTOS AND DIAGRAMS THAT YOU CAN CONFIRM USING PICTURES. 4. I will make myself available for information and tips, I use blender to build my aircrafts, but a lot of the same principles should apply to animation. 5. I don't know shit about plugins, outside of very basic SASL. Sorry Here are some images that I would use to build the plane http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-photos/photos/6/5/5/1475556.jpg http://photos.plane-mad.com/9/large/9208.jpg <- this one is especially good for wingbox work, along with gear scaling, since it's almost a perfectly forward shot http://images3.jetphotos.net/img/1/8/5/3/12687_1281717358.jpg http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-photos/photos/3/1/4/1120413.jpg http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-photos/photos/8/7/0/0734078.jpg http://www.h2fc-fair.com/hm12/images/highlights/dlr01.jpg http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/38/Tragfl%C3%A4che_(Airbus_A320).jpg <- this one's a good one to study in order to figure out how the flaps move, and where they stop Hope these help Good luck! ~Michael Chang~
