  1. Well ... given the option to only have planes running on a single plugin variant I'd choose my Gizmo planes over my SASL planes in a heart beat. Having said that, there's no such limitation ...
  2. Bring it on Cameron ! On a more serious note, to the development team in-total ... thank-you for your Herculean efforts in getting to the finish line. I know it's a commercial product and everything, but I (and I'm sure many others) really appreciate your serious approach to creating your product! To use an analogy, I rate the product that channels through X-Aviation as the Rembrandt, the Beethhoven, or the Miles Davis of the flight simming world, you are phenomenally good ... based on my personal experience and bias of course! Cheers!
  3. Looking forward to this adventure Zymurg . Looks great!
  4. Technically; while the flying object remains unidentified, it remains a UFO (Unidentified Flying Object). So .. you did see a UFO!
  5. That's sounds so much like sour grapes to me lol. Honestly, the linux taliban are their own worst enemy!
  6. My first genuine Alaskan bush adventure ... dropping off a bunch of masochists on a desolate arctic windswept island . Actually it required two pilots in two planes ... but I just wanted to practice to see if I was cut out to do this kind of flying! Absolutely loving it by the way ... best kind of flying I've done, and that's fair dinkum! The pick up .... En route .... The drop off ...
  7. New plane .. test flight in preparation for flying with my new group @ EPOCH; a great bunch of guys!
  8. A hairy fairy with buck teeth told me keep an eye on early October, 2013 ... and I think she was talking about the SAAB.
  9. Nice one mate!
  10. Really!? Wowsers!
  11. ... and I'm eminently grateful for the dedication of the developers! For as long as I have a passion for aviation, I'll spend money on well designed complex simulated aircraft!
  12. Not necessarily so. There are other transaction models that work. But definitely, as the vendor you do have to operate with a framework that suits you (x-aviation).
  13. Goran, many of us are patiently (and might I say, quietly *suffering*), waiting for the release of the SAAB. Actually, I wish there was a pre-pay option @ X-Aviation ... that would make it feel a little closer.
  14. I assume it can get a wee bit taxing juggling user perceptions and 'demands' (that are often unrealistic ... not to mention sometimes down right rude)! Hats off to X-Aviation et-al!
  15. Please, not all X-Plane users are of the same level of technical expertise as the people who develop for it. Gizmo is an astonishing product; it's matured incredibly well and I'm very interested in its long term prospects. I hope that the goal for it's longevity and widespread facility becomes the lode-star through which information is conveyed ... and an inveterate duffer such as myself (and it seems others who may share my unfortunate condition) will quite likely not understand in the first instance and require retelling more than the once; for which I plead for your patience and understanding! Cheers, Kris P.
  16. Hi Goran ... I'm happy to report that it all works now (scratching head! ). I have no idea why it was doing the rotation thing last night ... but right now its peachy! This is a FANTASTIC aircraft (have I already said that?), but I'm definitely going to have to do a wee bit of research as I seem to do a propeller strike every time I land! @ first I thought I'd forgotten to drop the gear, but that isn't so!
  17. Good luck with your adventures ksgy!
  18. Lovely plane Goran! The feel, the sound, the immersion .. the whole package .. just awesome! Thanks I applied the tail dragger mod (I'm a purist!), which worked however I noticed that when I did that the Oil flap lever was performing complete 360 degree rotations (the lever with the 'O' located just forward of the Prop levers on the throttle quadrant). I'll see if I can duplicate this effect again tonight and will update. Cheers!
  19. Have just purchased this aircraft! Thanks Goran and Cameron! Downloading .. so haven't flown it yet, but .. I have flown in one a number of times during my childhood (first plane I ever flew in in 1961 ... actually, I think it was 1959).
  20. Looking foreward to this. It looks awesome.
  21. Had a closer look and by golly it's probably the best rain I've seen yet! Big thumbs up! BTW Goran, how easy would it be to port that effect to the DC-3? Cheers, Kris
  22. My JS32 gets rain on the windshield .. but must admit, the pic is too dark for me to pick it
  23. Well I've not been known to be the brightest penny in the pile ... but it looks like I'm in good company .
