I'm afraid "Hello World" is about the limits of my programming ability in C ..lol.
-
Great stuff ... how are you going to tackle all the systems programming?
-
So where's Qantas?

Re - full heat of Australian summer, it really depends where he lives .. I think I saw he was in Byron Bay? I live just across the border, but a wee bit inland and it's been in the 20 -23 deg C here .. I just checked the national bureau of met and looks like Byron have similar .. not exactly sweltering when you consider Blackbutt (up the road a ways) has been registering in the 50's C (so I've been told) . BTW aren't you in Oz Dozer? *** DISREGARD - Just saw Cameron's post above heheh *** Re 64 bit, what I've found (and please don't take this as gospel) is that the the plugins often have two extra folders in their file structure ... 32Bit and 64Bit .. so I'm thinking that it will mostly be transparent to the user. Just my ill informed guess! Cheers.

Thanks Cameron, great to see the site back up!

My guess is it's likely getting close. Just remember that 10.20 isn't final yet Have faith that it will happen when the time is right and reread this post by Cameron if you ever "feel the need" ...

Never!

I think the Dornier 328 jet has what it takes (it's got that pugnacious certain 'something' appearance) to be the next JRollon product. That's settled then .

64Bit X-Plane, the SAAB and the MU-2 upgrade ... thank the Gods, life is good!

JRollon Releases BAe Jetstream 32
pryoski commented on X-Pilot's X-Plane flight sim news in Aircraft
Hi guys. This is not the support forum ... please go here for support questions for this plane. Actually, X-Pilot is very well organised, they provide a support forum for every thing they sell. You'll find it in the Forums area under "Commercial Vendors". Cheers. -

Very happy camper here. Thank you so much for the 64 bit. Now my 32 bit flying will be severely reduced! -
NORCAL Scenery Preview - January 16th, 2013
pryoski replied to Cameron's topic in Northern California
Patrik, I haven't read your thread on your VA (where's the thread?) ... but imposing the rule of what scenery one is 'allowed' to fly through is a dictatorial imposition I would think, considering that each of us experiences the suspension of disbelief uniquely within our own mind. So what if someone chooses to help this experience along with a selection of scenery ... only each of us sees our scenery no? We can try to share this experience however it truly is unique to each of us (my green is not necessarily your green) ... and I fail to see how that would impact on the 'shared' part of the experience flying in a VA? Real Scenery guys (and Cameron) ... the scenery is effing awesome!! I will be buying it as soon as I recover from Christmas bills! -
Very very grateful Tom! I experience an immense satisfaction 'flying' your planes . Cheers!

Can't wait for work to end so that I can spend quality time with wife and kids .... and then (when an appropriate amount of time has elapsed) negotiate a tactical withdrawal to my PC lol!
-
I'll have to wait until tonight unfortunately. Very excited about this Airfighter! Cheers and thank-you.
-
Thanks Kieren! I'll have a look-see @ Dan's tutes when I get home from work! Cheers P.S. How're you Southerners coping with the heat-wave? Saw the news last night and it didn't look too comfortable ...

Esvanes, I think it's a good idea to contribute wish-lists for this plane. TBH I have no clue where to start either (total ignoramus I am) ... so I'm trying to get started in Blender 2.6, however having issues getting the X-Plane script to work. My initial research indicates that I'll probably have to go back to a later version of Blender to get the XP import/export scripting to work. I have a somewhat sketchy nebulous plan (if you can even call it that) to start making the switches work and approximate what they are supposed to do in RL within the sim. Not being a coder either I could very well be spruiking out my ar8e ... but nothing ventured nothing gained ... a pithy saying that actually has some relevance here I think . BTW, I'm very inspired by what Airfighter is doing with the piaggio-p180-avanti-ii-upgrade, but I think he's a lot cleverer than I by a factor of lots and lots (trust me, that wouldn't be hard). Re the auto-pilot .. have you seen this post by Tom Kyler? Any inspired individuals to take on the mantle?

No worries mate, I visit this forum several times a day. The missus thinks I'm nuts

Hi, Cameron posted previously (in this thread) that X-Aviation are basically waiting until the 64Bit stuff is worked out, that there are some stumbling blocks with securing the base code for the MU-2 (I hope I got that correct). I think that they might also be waiting until Ben can finalise the Gizmo updates as well (advise to read the GIZMO threads ).That all said, in my experience with this site and it's products, when it all comes together it will all come together well. All we need to do is to cultivate patience ... which is very difficult I know ... hehe.

Hmmmm .... Could it be (drum-roll for dramatic effect) ... that Nicolas and Cameron are the same person The EDIT - Huh .. I messed up my post. Originally I'd also added that the reason being it could be a conspiracy to drive everyone away from org to x-pilot ... but I must have wiped it in my haste .. lol.

When the speed is your friend...
pryoski replied to arb65912's topic in British Aerospace Jetstream 32
In my observation, Javier's response to ideas has been exemplary (in the past) and I'm sure that a properly tailored discussion would be well received. But your words will definitely have more weight if you take the plunge and buy/try it as you'll then be in the position to provide a coherent critique based on experience of both real world and the sim world resulting in a spin-off benefit for X-Plane, the developer and the community. You must be sitting on the fence already if you're frequenting these forums . -
