  1. Marshall explains how to temporary overcome a couple of these things in his latest video. (all his videos are excellent btw )
  2. Remember to install Gizmo again. Not enough to just move the aircraft over...
  3. IXEG 737 official status: We are currently working on v1.1 of the aircraft which will include: Systems and 3D updates pluss bugfixes. As it looks right now v1.1 will be for XP10. By long experience we know that new XP runs are buggy for quite some time after release - which means - that in the beginning of a new XP run it will often be difficult for us (and you) to determine what is an XP11 bug and what is a Gizmo or IXEG bug. So officially we will not support XP11 until after the release dust has settled a bit. Rushing into XP11 is not a good idea since we might break more than we fix. This *might* change if it turns out there are few problems and easy fixes. We'll see. As for the timeframe, it is very hard to say depends on alot of factors that IXEG does not control. But basically what needs to happen in the following order is; 1. X-Plane 11 related bugs needs to get sorted and get stabilized by Laminar (if needed) 2. Then Gizmo needs to get updated by XA (if needed) 3. Finally, IXEG needs to update the aircraft (if needed) So atm our time and focus here at IXEG is on v1.1 for XP 10 while monitoring whats going on in XP11 and making sure the others involved do their part Also from experience, it usually takes atleast a few months from first beta for a new run of XP default to run satisfactory to the user. From an aircraft developer point of view we need to remember that since XP10 was released a few years ago, aircraft in XP has become A LOT more advanced, meaning that there is likely more that needs to get updated from the developers side. So we are definitely talking months before everything is back to "normal" again. So if you are a 737CL addict and/or don't like "beta software", hang on to XP10 for a while for things to mature.
  4. V1.1 for xp10 is focus at the moment. We will of course also update to v11 when the dust there has settled.
  5. AP disconnect might be your hardware spiking or you accidentally bumping into your controls. You will enter CWS mode. Try increasing the null-zone. issue #2 is probably a result of issue #1 M
  6. Usually XA responds within a week unless they see some kind of "problem" with your explanation that needs further investigation. There are ways to run out of activations other than legitimate ones to put it that way...and there are ways to find out. Unfortunately there is nothing we at IXEG can do about activation/purchase issues.
  7. Crawled in here today..
  8. About the MCP screenshot, that is usually a sign of the user having TWO aircraft installed. Like one in the XA folder and a copy in "heavy metal" or something. You should only have one in the XA folder.
  9. You see KSNA and naivaids in the "Local map" (in the menu)? Very simple, the liveries are located inside the IXEG 737 folder, and need to have the same name as the Air Berlin example "B733_Fuselage.png" etc.
  10. It works, you just need the latest version of Gizmo
  11. BTW Tamas, isn't there a restriction on use of the CTR pumps on the ground? Has something to do with risk increased of tank explosions due to temp rise is the CTR tank if the tank runs dry. This happened to a Thai 737. So maybe different policy's also on this around...
  12. Hard to say what happened from the info, you have the video?
  13. As far as I can tell from the schematics, fuel to the APU always draws from tank #1 (left) regardless of pumps, it even suction feeds from there... but I could be wrong offcourse, Jan?
  14. Wingflex is on the to-do list, don't worry I think however you will very soon get bored looking at it since the short and stiff wings of the 737CL require significant "bumps/turbulence" to get some visible action. The winglet aircraft however will show slightly more movement. The reason is winglets increases span and thus moves the center of lift further out on the wing causing increased bending moment. It's also visually easier to notice offcourse when the whole winglet moves.
  15. Sad, but fortunately the LH 733 will continue to fly virtually for years. And actually this is not the last LH 737 flight, there is atleast one more which - if everything goes as planned - you will hear more about soon
  16. It is not on the top of the to-do list at the moment. As we see it there are more important thing to do first. Doing it right is also quite tricky, most of the attempts you see around are a simplification of physics and 3D bending moments. Also, what you believe is a "must" is not necessary a "must" to others.
  17. I was probably a bit unclear, not my area of expertise, but here is how Jan explains it (6000 hrs in 737CL)
  18. Depends...Altitude alert will never be heard if the autopilot flies the plane.. You will hear it in manual flight if approaching the MCP alt too fast, or when straying from it for more than 300 feet (ref Jan)
  19. It's more like "my brain hurts from coding, so I need to find something else to do for a while"
  20. Well, I guess developers have studied the IXEG 737 well by now and got *inspiration* in many areas As for the new default 737NG, I believe Alex is behind the 3D on that, and he is possibly the best 3D designer in X-Plane, so I expect that to be awesome. The MD80 is most likely Sergio Santagada's which has existed behind the scenes for a decade but never got released, and I'm really happy to see it again in such good shape! For those who are not old enough, Sergio is kind of the "Godfather" of XP, he built the first quality airliners in XP and played a major role in XP development of scenery, aircraft and textures in the period XP v5 - 9 if I recall correct.
  21. Thanks, log's please..
  22. Sounds like you have engaged the AP on the ground?
  23. One I've been looking forward to (thats also a hint)
  24. Hi guy's, we did a bit of autumn cleaning in our section of these forums. Hopefully it now is a bit easier to navigate and use. Also in preparation to next release we have cleaned out many old bug reports to start with clean sheets. Don't worry, we have all your relevant reports filed in our own system so if you don't find yours here it does not mean it is lost or fogotten. Happy flying
