  7. It would be an interesting job as test pilot.
  8. I've had a go on a wire frame sim. It felt more realistic than FSX
  9. Just thought this might be a laugh to all the people who have beasts of computers. When I started running xplane a few years ago I had a computer with 256MB of ram and a 1.25Ghz powerpc processor. From memory I think it had a 10" screen!
  10. Okay Rush. When your online go to the Xsquawkbox menu and click "show who's online". It will then come up with a list of all the controllers in the area, once you find the one you want tune into it on the COM1 radio. Have a listen to what the other pilots saying and once you get an idea have a go yourself.
  11. Lis has given an excellent startup guide to vatsim here http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?topic=1255.msg11949#msg11949
  12. Good find Oliver, when I found the video in the video's section and it said last flight pilotman22 I thought it was your last flight. Seems like a good career at American but after 23 years I would prefer to be on something larger than the 757.
  13. Coming along nicely Ola. Will you do the same to the ground textures ???
  14. I will enjoy my 13" macbook screen.
  15. Okay, I'll get planning and expect this weeks fly in have something to do with TNCM and the beach approach.
  16. I love the runway textures. Good job on the vid
  17. I have no idea ??? Maybe you should email Laminar.
  18. Its a tie between 11.00Z and 22.00Z. I have no idea which one to choose ???
  19. I've got a macbook pro too and I have been having the same problem but without blue screen. I want to get flying for ZE but this is holding me back :-[
  20. The renders look amazing. I wish there where cockpit shadows in X-Plane.
  21. Your not guilty lis. It's a poll and if you want something changed you vote. If you can make it to all the following times it's a good thing.
  22. Sorry to confuse you Theo. You are suppose to vote for a time and day or in other words there should be twice as many votes than voters.
