Franz, therefore you always have a default payload of 4,477 lbs, making your ZFW 17,132 lbs. Call it operational items (pilots, flight attendant, catering, etc.). If you add weight, add weight on top of this payload.

Hi, pilot fellas! Today, I would like to share with you something I have been working on for the past several months. It will be an iOS application to perform flight planning for this great plane. This video demonstrates how the application will load a plane with passengers and/or cargo, and how weights, fuel, and center of gravity will be calculated. The application is about one-quarter ready and should be available in late fall. If you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to send them to me at the following email address: igodispatch@igoapp.ca. Thanks a lot! Igor

Goran. Thank you very much. I tried to get %MAC by going to the plane in PlaneMaker and looking at the CG value there. However, the value there is -4.42 ft (i.e., -53.04 in). It is not clear to me what this value is and why it is negative. Guys, can you please explain it to me? I expected to see the CG as a distance from datum (say, the nose of the airplane) and calculating %MAC at BOW as: (CG in X-Plane - LEMAC) / MAC * 100. Thanks! Your help is very much appreciated!

Hm, OK then. Will be learning Photoshop for a change! :-) Thanks, Goran!

Hello. I was trying to make a snapshot of the plane in Plane-Maker (just a snapshot, no setting changes ). Is it possible to see the plane in Plane Maker with these doors shut? Thanks!
-
No, John. You still need to do it manually...

Thank you everybody for responding to the survey. If you have not had a chance yet, could you please take your time to answer the question? Much appreciated!

Hello, fellow pilots. Could you please respond to the survey? I am trying to figure out what kind of gadgets people have. Your responses are much appreciated. Thank you!

Hello everyone. Glad to report that a new CRJ-200 flight planning application can be downloaded here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/files/file/634-igodispatch-jrollon-crj-200/ Please note that this is a beta version. I am still trying to fine-tune the fuel calculations. If you notice a big difference (say, beyond the 10% margin of error) between what has been calculated and what was the actual number, please PM me your distance, weather, take-off weight, climb profile, cruise speed, burn fuel estimate, and burn fuel actual. It is Windows only for now but I do plan to make it work on other platforms. Please refer to the Manual included in the zip file for the proper installation procedures! Many thanks to the developers of this wonderful plane!

Guys. With due respect to your work. You are obviously working on more improvements to this wonderful plane. But I was just wondering if you already had tweaks to improve the frame rate two months ago, isn't possible to release two updates: one now with the frame rate and gizmo improvements to date, and another one later - with whatever you are working on now. Please do not take it as an offence, just eager to fly. Thanks.

I used ground services once and had no problem with CTOT, as far as I could tell. Hm, should try again...
-
I set CTOT at 100-105. If I set it higher -- engine overheating. Try to set it at 100. Should be fine for the engine and enough for the climb...

Thanks, Ben. I have not seen that but I was sure it would be taken care of. You may close this thread if you want. Best.

Hello. The 64 bit version of XSquawkbox has been released. Apparently there is a problem with the Gizmo plugin. This is what it says on the org site: "The gizmo crash is well reported and will be fixed, wade et al have suggested that you contact the gizmo makers as that is where the problem lies and not with xsquawkbox because if you remove gizmo everything works perfectly." So, I am conveying the message to the Gizmo developers and also wanted to see if other people tried the XSquawkbox with Saab. Best,

Cameron, cheers! It worked. Hopefully, I will not have to do it every time I switch the plane!

Hi. I have just tried to load CRJ-200 that I bought from x-pilot and apparently the PFD and ND displays are blacked out as if I have not had activated the plane. This happened after I have installed Saab. Can someone please confirm the issue? Thanks!
-
Apparently, it works, but I was also wondering whether the order was wrong.
-
Thanks, and it would not have been possible without Bill and his wonderful plugin! Thanks, Bill!

Thanks to Bill Sparker, the plugin developer, the problem with radios has been resolved. Now they are visible on the panels. The revised ini file is attached. Please let me now if it works. Best, xsaitekpanels.rar

AJ, If the ini file is located in the SAAB folder, it will only affect this plane. For other planes, you can have different ini files located in other planes' folders. So, this ini file will not affect other planes. Just remember to reload xsaitekpanels.ini in the XP menu, Best, Igor
