  1. Phew glad you got it sorted!! Were just going to include UM as part of the installer at this point to avoid that mess! poktry that looked horrible LOL
  2. Install this module: http://maxx-xp.com/urbanmaxx-v3-tm Its been recently updated
  3. Where is that? Are you running UM? Looks looks like something is corrupt
  4. We're you able to sort .pol files out?
  5. There might be a load on the server I'll check it out in a few.... I assume you are using a non-beta XP11? Prior to 10.20vr5 this issue exsisted on LR's end and was fixed. So if you don't get involved in betas it will be fixed when 11.20 goes final
  6. Fixed!! We dont mess around...... http://maxx-xp.com/urbanmaxx-v3-tm
  7. If I remember correctly they added lit textures to the urban terrain, should be an easy fix made to the Urbanmaxx v3 module.....Ill look into it very soon
  8. It's possible, not something that can be done easily and not something I'm willing to offer right now...You're asking a broad question so I'm going to refrain from offering up a solution, it's easy to really mess up the scenery....it involves editing the library.txt....
  9. https://flyagi.de/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=27 Loving the trees BTW and Im smitten that we are already seeing enhancements!
  10. http://maxx-xp.com/urbanmaxx-v3-tm To answer your question, once the scenery package is setup properly, when you turn off TerraMAXX the REGION_DREF command should be ignored. There is no need to create a separate library.txt, just make sure the original version is still intact...... As far as editing those files, Ive found BULK TEXT editing software helps tremendously in streamlining the process.......just a pro tip
  11. Oh another side note, the recently released UM v3 has a library.txt you can use as a guide for scenery creation....
  12. It's in the works, this wasn't planned for our release...... Just be patient, I want to make sure the tutorial is complete...
  13. On the plausible scale bare trees looked horrible......trust me... Deep winter presents very gray and drab trees, you can switch it manually and stare off into the gray depressing void!
  14. Yes that was the intention, during development I would categorize these scenarios in real life to use them for future reference. One key thing that looks odd are all the trees still maintain the foliage. I tried working bare trees and they did not look as plausible. The slightly green trees were a observation leaving KPHL on my way down to San Juan during the winter., so I went with it ;).....
  15. Very well said and thank You!
  16. You're on the right track with your thinking but no not necessarily a virtual link ,you can add a "winter" folder inside the custom scenery folder and link to there..... Also the simple way, as you suggested, would work..... Again it all will make sense when I get a good example going
  17. We built in post processing similar to maxx fx, if you decide to use it it's recommended to turn off maxx fx.... If you do not use it, yes maxx fx works perfectly....
  18. There are 4 calls you can include using X-Plane's REGION_DREF command: maxxxp/seasonsxp/is_summer maxxxp/seasonsxp/is_autumn maxxxp/seasonsxp/is_mid_winter maxxxp/seasonsxp/is_winter For example, if you have autumn-specific scenery in your package, you can include: REGION_DREF maxxxp/seasonsxp/is_autumn == 1 This is all structured in the library.txt. An airport scenery package will now need a separate folder for each seasonal variation, most likely just three since you can exclude summer if you so chose. Ideally you can edit your textures, to include orthos, place them in the appropriate folder and call from the library.txt to present them. Or not ideally, but already built into TM, is using the lego brick assets (objects not included). When a seasonal variant is selected in TM it will also call from your scenery automatically. All this will make WAAAAYYYY more sense when I have the tutorial put together.......
  19. Just my two cents here......... Keep in mind we are breaking new ground and the concept of seasons, it is in its infancy........With that being said TM is a plausible approach given what is available to us from LR. As Cameron said we already have concepts being discussed which will bring a higher resolution to the product......
  20. To intelligently answer this question, Im in the process of developing a small airport that utilizes seasons. My goal is to use this as an example to scenery designers so they may integrate into TM. Its been awhile since Ive played around with WED..... Stand by, once its complete Ill put together a tutorial here on X-Pilot.......
  21. I didn't think of that, thanks Cameron....
  22. It seems maybe your download is corrupt, I would try redownloading SM.... I haven't had any issues installing it into xp11
  23. Sorry you feel this way..... VR is in beta, vulkan isn't even implemented and there is still a ton of VR hardware evolution moving forward... It's yet to see if VR will even become a standard for simulation in general. If that time comes rest assured hardware and software will evolve to accommodate the new market. This includes add on developers to boot..... The XP market is still pretty small and we don't run with a ton of resources to roll dice on emerging technologies... I'm an enthusiast turned developer in cooperation with Sundog who, although Frank has an appreciation for aviation, is mostly all business.... I'm sure LR will publish vr usage in the future and after 11,20 goes finsl I doupt it will even be 1% of the total market.... See nobody is being dismissive of your concerns, there is simply a market dynamic we adhear to in order to stay in business..... To sum up some feelings here, I will say SMP is doing fine and we are certain it will continue to do well in this small market.....
  24. Version 4 is already optimised for XP11 it has been for quite awhile.....
