I don't mind your feedback at all Mat, as a matter of fact we have added some of your suggestions to the roadmap...... Those individuals who are happy with SM, see the value of the product and are enjoying it, Mat it is OK to be happy..... What caused me to jump into the mix was the product basically being called incomplete..... I know we will not make everyone happy but rest assured SM is organic and has a bright future....

Vag69, I made no false claims as to the what SkyMAXX provides at all, and what it does offer justifies the price. By no means is this an incomplete product. Changes being made are directly related to the valuable feedback we gain from the community and by no means are provided because of any deficiencies with the product.... Vag I don't know if you know what I do at Maxx-XP, but updates and follow ups are always provided because there is always room to improve on a product and I really enjoy X-Plane and I want to help extend the product with my add-ons. Your claims are not justified one bit and I would appriciate if you refrain from making stupid claims..... Additionally we are working on this product in the background, if I were on forums posting all the time things wouldn't get done.... Keep in mind: We love feedback and it motiviates us to further the X-Plane experience...... ALSO!!! If you are having financial problems, consider it my obligation to tell you to not buy SkyMAXX Pro and utilize that money else ware. I would hate to see any financial difficulties due to you purchasing my fantastic product....

Sounds like you have something else going on there xsb was fixed already. Time to investigate. ... Post your log so the community can help....

I agree with flydav, something else is at play here........I have been chasing my tail with this one guys and the only time I say this problem was with the NOAA plugin..... There may be a problem with plugins that write to the weather engine. SkyMAXX does not write to the weather engine, it only reads from.....

Ok I can reproduce the problem phew that was tough...... Yes we are seeing this with SkyMAXX and we will be working towards a fix Thanks guys for pointing this out.......

Thst setting with skymaxx has no impact at all in sim. Essentially it is disabled....

I dont feel as if you have an issue with anything else, what you are seeing is a screenshot taken around the same time of day as the last one with the sun in the same position......to be more precise up high and off to the left of that image.... This setting you have will absorb more light then reflect it, similar to real life, here is a real image with the sun behind a cloud: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/81/Cloud_in_the_sunlight.jpg The clouds are a simulation on to themselves and are dynamic in the very fact that they change under a variety of conditions..... Take a look at the gallery, some look like the image above and some have more depth it all depends on a bunch of variables: http://skymaxx-extreme.com/?page_id=2 But to sum it up belimi, maybe you are seeing more then me, I would try and remove the HDR environment add-ons........

I cannot duplicate the issue myself, I'm still trying...... I also have a few aircraft that use Gizmo and SASL and I have been using them during these long term tests.....

Ah I see the clouds you are looking at are around noon......bring the slider left or right some...... It has to do with the way light reflects off the clouds.....The position of the sun and moon have an effect on the shading of the clouds...... Also if you have your cloud detail slider down the clouds will reflect a bit less light.....
