  1. What competition??? Sorry...kidding. I do like how Fred has implemented his Smart Menu on the Dreamfoil AS350B+. maybe something like this could be licensed from Dreamfoil? Cheers Rhydian
  2. Looking forward to the video Jan.
  3. Thanks for the consideration Goran. Yes I should imagine it may prove difficult to find cockpit reference images for the AEW, especially since its a military variant. The exterior model certainly looks pretty cool though....Pretty funky! I think PMDG have done this sort of thing with their Jetstream, adding a couple of exterior mods, not to make them functional but just as bit of eye candy. Either way, this is going to be a superb addon with or without the AEW. You've done a sterling job mate. Cheers Rhydian.
  4. That's great news Cameron. Any thoughts for the Saab 340AEW (military variant)? Even if it was just the external model....could be a lot of fun to fly around X-plane.
  5. Now THAT is seriously impressive! Rhydian
  6. Thats excellent news Martyn.
  7. I'd buy it in a heartbeat guys. Sterling work! Rhydian
  8. Great video Wayne. Fantastic work Guy. That periscope is insane!!! Cheers Rhydian
  9. Thanks for the info Jan, that's fantatsic. Found these images on airliners.net the resemblence is incredible. You guys have done a sterling job on the textures. http://www.airliners.net/photo/Lufthansa/Boeing-737-330/1107253/L/&sid=0bf2e4b3882cccc44c74cd331d6c655f http://www.airliners.net/photo/Lufthansa/Boeing-737-330/1339838/L/&sid=0bf2e4b3882cccc44c74cd331d6c655f Rhydian.
  10. Out of interest is D-ABXX the registration that Jan flies? Rhydian
  11. Stunning work guys!!! Rhydian
  12. Looking superby detailed Pete. Well done. The texture work is incredible.
  13. Posted the Nice circuit video on the Avsim X-plane general discussion forum the other day. Superb work guys, really really superb. I'm sure the IXEG 737 will win over many hearts and minds.
  14. Look at all that grime!!! Well impressed with the textures and modelling skills represented here guys. Keep up the filthy work. Think I need a bath! Cheers Rhydian
  15. Yeah I must admit Simon you guys have had a shocker! I'm on a train going back to South Wales, was at the first session at the stadium this morning. Truly incredible atmosphere from everyone there. Plenty of superb OZ support too. Was at the rowing on Monday, you guys in gold were almost louder than us Brits. You guys know how to party! Hope it gets better for you though mate. Now, if you could just start losing in rugby and let us Welshies win I would be very grateful...but we both know that is NEVER going to happen. I'm still upset from that whitewash the other day! Lol. Cheers Rhydian
  16. Fantastic work. I love the 'weathered' and 'used' look to the textures, makes it feel much more real. Looking forward to see some animations. Rhydian
  17. Cheers for the links Goran. Better get the reading cap on! Rhydian
  18. Really love the new 737 MAX, looks like it will go head to head with the A320 NEO. Loved the computer generated graphics of that video too, wonder in the future, when computer technology catches up, we'll have x-plane looking like that? If Ray Tracing technology in desktop graphics cards takes off in a big way, maybe it will. Gosh i'm just salivating at the prospect of that! Cheers Rhydian
  19. Amazing to think that we take engine management in a modern airliner for granted these days. Where does a flight engineer start with all this stuff? To think this is just a portion of the engineer's station!!! I know one thing though, it'll be fun finding out. Incidentally, Goran do you know of any websites where i can find operators manuals for this classic bird??? Keep up the great work. Rhydian
  20. Just the 5 years Guy???? Blimey! Incredible dedication. Well done mate, I can't wait to try it out for myself. Rhydian
  21. Fantastic, well done Leen. Rhydian
  22. Yes I think you are right about Maya. My colleagues are animation technicians, one of them worked on the B-17 flying fortress game for Microprose in 1992. He worked on the character animations for that game. He teaches Maya to our animation and computer game students. It seems to be more extensively used in animation and film work. We teach our students to use hotkeys when editing, i find them more efficient to use than mouse clicks and drop down boxes and i think they are a much faster way to work with complex application, but I totally agree, trying to remember them all is a headache!!! I remember when i first started in the broadcast industry as a trainee, watching a BBC editor cutting a news piece with Avid Media Composer using just hotkeys, I was amazed how quick he could edit. It was like watching a magician, his hands were a blur! Keep up the great work Javier! B-17 flying fortress. http://www.simhq.com/_air11/air_340b.html Cheers Rhydian
  23. Look at all that detail!!! Brilliant work as always Javier. You model and texture fast too, not surprising that you use Autodesk 3ds Max. Is it a lot different to Maya? I noticed they are both used in game development. My colleagues teach both programs at my workplace. They both look incredibly complicated, but very powerful. Well done. Rhydian
  24. Great work Goran. After reading about it on Simflight, gosh news spreads fast in the flight sim world, I checked out the FS Developer website. That throttle model and texture you posted there are insane! Really looking forward to more news on this one, but you'll have to tear me away from your DC-3 first mate! Lol. Oh and some of those ridiculous "nice model, shame it's for x-plane" comments are quite frankly juvenile, in my opinion. Ignore them. You're doing a super job without having to listen to that... crap...pardon my Welsh! Well done. Rhydian
