Going to take me longer to copy over all my planes and scenery then it did to install and update. With over 200gb of planes and scenery.

Installation completed, now to update. Did not take as long as I thought it would to install.

If you read my previous posts in this thread you will see who I ordered from and when. Disk 1 installed, this will take hours to install the entire global scenery.

WOW, what a pleasant surprise. Just went down to check the mail and there it is. X-Plane 10 is here. Time to open the envelope and install.

Laminar must really be backed up with orders, still have not received any confirmation from stamps.com of shipment. Should have waited and bought from you Cameron. Oh well. This is my order number from Laminar, should be about a week out yet.MEYER-000000047291

Ordered from Laminar the day the demo was released early in the morning while downloading. Still waiting for my stamps.com shipping confirmation. No worries though, so busy with work I would not have much time to install right now anyways.

Would have ordered mine from you Cameron on the day the demo was released, but you did not have that option for it at the time and you know me. Click the order button while downloading. Oh well, best of luck with sales. Probably won`t see my copy in the mail till Christmas since the laminar site was hit pretty hard that first pre-order morning. -
Thanks guys , spending my day playing around with X-Plane 10 and explored the interior of the default 747, found a surprise inside. LOL

Looking back back to the 1st class seating. Demo time ran out when using the head. :hahaha: -
All images are 1080p, to view full screen, right click on image and hit view. Overhead panel. Control panel.

Another post at the org mentioned something about reducing the weather default vis setting from its current 50 CAVOC to maybe VFR and it improved a mac`s fps rates big time. I have not any issues, but if do, I know where to go to get some back. The X-plane learning curve is reducing. Printed off the default key commands sheets for quicker reference. And once learned, the new View key commands will blow away the old ones.

Got that right Simon, the new exterior view shake like Rise of Flight did is not my favorite for sure.

Will get better as I learn how to tweak the settings and the hardest for me. All new view keys to learn.

Got that right Tom, everyone complaining must be be new to X-Plane or just forgetful. Same issues happened when 9x was released but nobody seems to remember them now that 10X is here. And being a demo, like beta testing, you will have problems. Please, report them so they can get fixed. Have a great Thanksgiving Tom and family.

Server overload, downloading to and with a demo of 3.64gb, looks like it will take another 6 hours. -
Games for either are way to expensive, I prefer my PC for all my gaming needs now that I have 42" 1080p monitor.

I was just the opposite when it comes to X-Planes interface. I hated the way FS set up theirs and just moved back to X-plane. This goes back to 1999 when I first bought X-Plane 5.52 for $80. Personal preference is easy to come by when you get use to it, then change it and it becomes more negative since you must retrain way of thinking.
