  1. Hi all ! I just found this in another Aerosoft topic about X-Plane 10: http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/46965-aerosoft-x-plane-10/ European version and US version of X-Plane 10 ? Does this mean I'll see only water for the rest of the world, or does this mean a global world scenery would mean at least 40 DVDs only for OpenStreetMap data ?
  2. Great shots ! ;D Converted BluePrint scenery ?
  3. Awesome work !!! 8)
  4. Hi all ! It looks like there's no ICAO code for Bulolo Airport: :-\ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_airports_by_IATA_code:_B http://www.prokerala.com/travel/airports/papua-new-guinea/bulolo-airport.html http://theairdb.com/airport/BUL.html http://www.airportnavfinder.com/airport/BUL/ (IATA:BUL) Runway 15 / 33 Dimensions: 4382.4 x 197 feet Surface: Dirt You want to land the CRJ on this runway ?
  5. Around Lahr (Black Forest, Germany, EDTL) with the Mooney. Happy flying ! 8)
  6. ??? OK now it's obvious... they never tried X-Plane 9 ! In FSBreak 93, from 01:59:00, Nick and Eric are commenting the X-Plane 10's Blog screenshots and think it's X-Plane 10. :-\
  7. That's the date on their "Sticky Threads". Last thread about X-Plane: April 28th. But you're right, and now the problem is, they don't even know that an awesome B-17G and a T-28C have been released for X-Plane. That should change because their forum is called "SOH Combat Flight Center". ;D
  8. One more on Sim-Outhouse: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/forumdisplay.php?64-X-Plane
  9. Hi all ! Markus, I love your shot with the sun ! And Jason, I can't wait flying your beautiful bird with this livery. I had a nice flight this evening around Albertville (LFKA) while listening to music. Elevation from Atomic Cat is an excellent track and for me it's always a pleasure to see the Mont Blanc (in the background, picture 7). Happy flying ! 8)
  10. From Andernos les Bains (LFCD) to Mimizan (LFCZ) with a friend... Happy flying ! 8)
  11. I don't know, but they're also selling cars for X-Plane: http://www.youtube.com/user/XPlaneCar#p/u/17/IQcj3akzMoo
  12. It's also available here: http://www.x-objectware.com/product_info.php?products_id=222 (same price). And you can also find the tyrannosaurus rex. ;D
  13. This must be an awesome glider !
  14. Hi all ! Two questions for X-Plane texture experts: are the default runway textures dds textures ? Are they pre-mipmapped ? David, did you also try 3rd party runway textures ? http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=7591 Happy flying !
  15. I'm also using driver VSync to limit my framerate to 60 and I didn't find something to limit the FPS to 30. 19FPS instead of 30 when using the X-Plane framerate lock set to "half refresh of monitor" is a bug I have since X-Plane 9.40. I already sent a bug report for this, but it may help Laminar Research if you also send them a bug report with your Log.txt file showing your Ati driver version.
  16. ;D CPU at 100% that's a normal situation. But you can try to set the "display performance" to low in the FMC (MCDU MENU). In your log.txt file I saw you're using a Radeon graphic driver, so this may not work for you, but installing a new graphic driver helped a lot for the FPS on my Nvidia system.
  17. Hello ! What's the version you have for /lib32/libc.so.6 ? You may have to install a newer version of libc.so.6.
  18. Hi David ! When I was using FS2004, I also bought EZ-Scenery. A very easy tool. In X-Plane, you can use these tutorials: http://wiki.x-plane.com/Airport_Creation http://wiki.x-plane.com/Airport_Customization Happy building !
  19. Beautiful ! 8)
  20. Hello ! Here's the button for the overhead light: Happy flying ! 8)
  21. Very nice shot ! ;D
  22. Hi all ! ArthurDent, I'm using the CRJ with Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit and it's working fine, I just also had to install new 32-bit libraries. It's not a problem and X-Plane is my only 32-bit application. But if you manually install 32-bit libraries, make sure to install them in /usr/local/lib32 or /usr/lib32, because /usr/local/lib and /usr/lib are for 64-bit libraries. Best regards and happy flying. 8)
  23. Solar Impulse near Luxembourg. 8)
  24. :-\ Did you check the temperatures in your system with lm_sensors ? I increased the fan speed of my big copper Zalman cooler since I fly with the CRJ. Do you have dust in your computer case ? How do you install your Nvidia driver ? Are you using the setup file from Nvidia.com ?
