That's true Larjeet, but with clouds set on, the sim is pretty much unusable. I think I get a maximum of around 13fps

In all versions of 10.xx for me, clouds of all kinds have drastically killed my fps. With clear skies, I usually sit at high twenties, maybe thirties in frames per second, but as sson as I add any clouds, it plummets into low teens, and sometimes single digits. I've tried tweaking the rendering options but its always the same.

You are very right. As well as looking strange, my fps goes drastically down as well. I ope they fix this!

Beta 7 solved all problems for me, and Vancouver looks great. One problem that I did notice was downtown, Canada place wasn't in the right spot. It kind of floated just off the shore. Happy 2012!

YES!! The beta 7 update solved the problems. Everything appears to be normal now.

I have tried the inside passage, but my global scenery around there isn't working correctly. The package itself looks fine to me.

The worst part is that I went to the support page to ask for assistance on boxing day. I haven't heard a word back yet. It feels as if I'm on my own for this one.

Thanks for the support everyone. To Kesomir, no. My x-plane folder was not installed within program files. I have it on my desktop Simon (Simmo W), as far as I can see, the default scenery looks fine, as this screen shows. You can see pt. Roberts looks normal. alpilotx, my current version is 10.03b6

I received my copy of x-plane 10 an Christmas day, and went to install the global scenery right away. Once I finished loading the DVD's onto my computer, I went straight to YVR (my home airport) to check it out. when I got there it looked like this, but only in the Vancouver area. I did a brief check, but everywhere else in the world seemed fine. Roads will appear if set, but traffic, objects, and trees will not. I tried reinstalling everything, I've tried scanning for damaged files, and tried changing the rendering options, but came up with nothing. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem yet, and/or how to fix it.

What a great video! I love the sounds, and the Seattle scenery looks so real. X-plane 10 continues to amaze me with its visual goodies. I also quite enjoy the cabin view.

Also, wasn't there supposed to be a nice Columbia 400 aircraft as a default plane as well? http://www.x-plane.com/news/page/3/ That was one that I was really looking forward to, and I don't think that it was ever in the demo. I suppose these planes could come with the full version of xp10.

I believe you use the period and comma keys for forward and backward in x-plane 10. I king of wish that they left page up/ down to do that job.

Hey guys, small question. I FINALLY got the demo downloaded, and xp10 is amazing! But I'm struggling with some of the new camera functions. The main one for me is in xp9, to move foreword in toggle 3d cockpit, I pressed page up. When I do that in xp10, nothing happens.

Still downloading... 8kb/s with 42 hour to go. I want to cry. I just don't feel like downloading by torrent.
