Yes. There are two ways doing directs. Dir page and in LEGs also. In real FMS. when having only 3 months to end the CRJ I decided to only include the LEGs option in 1.0 version and in future try to implement the DIR page. Why the DIR page is not easy? Because also has to program the nearest airports function. I want to include that in future releases, but we have to see if we can do it. For now it is totally possible to fly a Direct as the real one inside the LEGs page, so the only missed here is in case of failure find the closer airport. But you can show the airports in MFD and choose the one you want to go. Of course this is not the 100% as the real CRJ but it is close enought to feel very confortable flying. Of course everyone has a different "armchair" model where he feels confortable in... cheers,

ohhh I am gonna kill someone!!!! hahahahaha so you were trying to delete waypoints outside LEGs page? is that correct????? IF so..... KIIIIIILLLLLL!!!!!!!! DESTROOOOOYYY!!!! WHY DO I MAKE DOCUMENTS AND TUTORIALS!!!?????? hahahahaha

me not.. and almost same computer you have. I think you should have between 50 fps to 100 fps with that configuration... isn't it?

Please keep us informed about your progress in this Fu..... issue with C++ stuff. Well as you can see also DCS: A10 are having lots of patches (right now 1.1.0.8) to fix several problems as well improve it). Normal in complex simulators. But one good thing they have is that they don't have their simulator with other options. X-Plane is opened to any addom or plugin. DCS is also opened.. but much more less. Only modifications.. and little programming. Well anyway.. keep us informed.. and if you can find another computer where you can try to see if it is working, would be a good idea. Also install Ubuntu in your computer. You would have better frame rate in the CRJ in linux. (but drivers in Ubuntu is a little kick in the ass.. sooo hahaha.. well...... welcome to computers.... you know.. once I hit one of my keyboards with my fist, because I had 2 weeks of installing stuff and suddendly the Hardrive didn't work. Take a deep breath and count to 1 million. But this has one good point. I learned a lot in recovering computers, and fixing them....

to those that have a CTD I found something..... please check.

So each day I am more convinced that 1.1 CTD in MACs are because the users that has those CTD has something inside their computer that makes a new feature included inside 1.1 (or just more calculation of 1.1 in route or whatever) crash x-plane. We have to find what it is. Plugins, hardware, not well installed or deleted old files....... (by the way do people deleted the test of the DRJ. Uninstalled it?) But not all MAC users are having these CTD. I cannot count the percentage because I don't know how many do have the 1.1 version in Mac.. Well.. lets wait what Philipp has to say. cheers, -
Thanks! we have to check this out.. and also north and south pole!!! hahaha.. Well just kidding.. Ok.. Philipp has to take a look at this. Thanks!

Manuals... those things that are for what???? : : Anyway.. about the del bug.. I don't find it.. but will take a look at it.

Thanks to you. I hope that we find the energy and time to improve the plane to new functions in future. As I said I cannot promise that because we are only 2 people making this plane, and x-aviation giving support and installation. If Philipp find the way and energy and time then I would like to continue making more things inside this plane. Even make a good failure system. But I cannot promise. cheers,
-
Re-Open it again to let Nova post what he found to share with Perry, until Philipp comes again. Maybe it can help other users in future with same problem. But this is not a CRJ issue. It is a system-user issue.

What I do in all updates of Navdata or whatever is always the same in all systems. Unzip it over the desktop. go to NavData folder and SidStar folder and copy them. Go to JRollonPlanes and move other folder and backup them (in case in new update there is something wrong to recover good data) in other place deleting the ones in that JRollonPlanes folder. Paste the folders I copied inside JRollonPlanes. cheers,

aha.. thanksgod we have the 1.0 version working ok.... But could you please post log.txt and crash-log.txt of 1.1 when you can. That way Philipp would have more information about the problem. Thanks.

Yes!! all information is util here! But also know that to people also works great the 1.1 version. You cannot imagine how desperate and frustrated I have been feeling these 3 last days. It is also good to let people see that the plane is working.. and only is needed to find the problems they have inside their computer. Hope also a Mac user report something like you. cheer, -
don't you have the 1.0 version installer in your computer saved? Ask for it to X-Aviation.. but first uninstall everything of 1.1 with uninstaller. hope you can fly. 1.1 had issues.. with compatibility also.. but it seems to be more stable inside MAC. Differences in 1.1 and 1.0 are not so big.. so you wouln't loose too much in it. Hope you can fly.
-
ok.. but if those things don't work.. don't loose the patience. Nothing can be achieved with bad mood. Maybe it will work for you fast.. maybe it will take weeks to make it work.. but we will try to give you ideas to make it work. Sometimes even Philipp has talked with costumers via skype to solve their problems.. and he did.. So we try to do our best. We know that your talking outside is important for our products.. so we want to have you happy.. but you are playing right now with the most sophisticated plane ever in x-plane.. and it is not easy to make it work for everyone. But remember that there are poeple that even they don't talk but they are flying with the plane easily. That is the reason Microsoft moved to consoles.. becasue all people has the same hardware.. so games don't have too much issues. Control. PC or Mac or Linux.. gives you freedom.. and that freedom something is a kick in the ass for developers. cheers,

we are fighting agaist these compatibility issues. The 98% of the problems the cRJ has are because of this. Compatibility with other plugins. We will try to make them compatible.. and we want to send the plane to plugin creators to fix the plane also, because if we have issues now with CRJ we will have in future with others. But if people don't want issues with plugins.. then we can return to old planes.. without systems.... as costummers may preffer...... About Gizmo. You can delete the plugin. No problem to make the dreamfoil work with it. Dreamfoil: I have send an email to the creator of the helicopter. Cameron will send a plane for him to make him also think about how to solve this problem. But meanwhile you have the option to just move the plugin inside of resources/plugins of the external plugins that are in conflic with the CRJ. It only takes 3 seconds... and then just copy back. No great thing to do. About the thing I said about internal external.. Maybe it won't work because I noticed that the stairs are visible and they are internal.. but you can try if you want. But it seems to be a low videocard memory. You know.. as long as I have been selling planes I have made some refunds.. but never because it didn't work because a system incompatibility. My planes works.. The solution is always format or change hardware. While there is solution then I don't think is a good idea to refund. And I said in documentation and in forums.. This plane is a big demand computer systems plane. People that don't have good computers (minimum >3ghz dualcore with >512mb vram) should not buy this plane.
-
Another thing. I have seen that the objects that disappear are the ones labeled internal, even if they are external. I did that to illuminate 3d light. Try this. Open the crj200.acf with plane maker. Once opened go to menu standard. Misc objects. And ther change all objects that are labeled inside to outside. And save it. You will lose 3d landing light over surfaces, but ill be able to see the whole plane. If that solution your problem, then it is an issue of xplane that i should report. But also try things i told you before. Of course make a backup of the acf file before modifing it.

Good news among CTD ones
-
Sure it is not fun and we are not so stupid to release a beta to everyone complain. Anyway.. Not in this aircraft sometimes I have had the same proble you have. I close xplane and loaded again and the issue disappeared. This is an issue between xplane shaders and your graphic card. Some updates in drivers can make the solution. Try it. But First I suggest you remove pixel shaders option from rendering. Try without it and tell us what you find. Close all web browsers while loading xplane, and remove any picture from desktop. Also compress textures for safe vram. That can be done through rendering options. If still the problem persists, please post log.txt. Also if you have option to install in other computer do it.

This seems to be an activation issue. Contact x-aviation support for resolving it. Thanks.

Japo32 replied to Japo32's topic in Canadair CRJ-200
Also for MAC users (that ONLY have CTD).... please with demo version and no plugins at all.. try this: remove (make backup. copy them to a folder inside desktopj, to restore them later) these files (plugins): Gizmo.plugin shrink-wrap.plugin but also remove (make backup) the folder called libcurl.framework that is inside your username/library/frameworks. leave others two there (if you delete those two the plane won't work. But those that already made this (delete the two gizmo and shrink plugins) please do it over a clean demo install of xplane 9.68... without any plugin.... so you have to: 0. clean fonts as said by Philipp. 1. install x-plane 9.69 mac demo (clean, new and fresh). 2. install 1.1 version of CRJ 3. load the plane and activate it. quick xplane 4. remove the files that I mention before 5. load the CRJ and try. and lets see what happens. It seems that gizmo and shrink plugin.. MAYBE are affecting Squadbox plugin so maybe they are also MAYBE affecting your CRJ. And because I cannot try testing, because here everything goes smooth and perfect, then only it is you who can. I cannot think anymore for now to try. Philipp will give us some clues, but it can take time until Philipp appears in the forum (maybe 1 week.. maybe sooner). cheers, -
ok.. thanks.. will take a look. Strange that doesn't happen to me.
-
YEESSS!!! man.. it needs a clean of spirits NOWWW!!!
-
Mmmmmmm GREAT!!!! Cameron?? Well.. more testings are needed.. If I would find the same behaviour I would do it myself.. but I can't because everything is working great here. All the 1.1 BUGS all people found already.. ONLY ONE!!! I could verify it!!! INCREDIBLE!!!

Japo32 replied to Japo32's topic in Canadair CRJ-200
that is.. you are right. verified here!... For now you only have to deselect the SID just selecting again the Runway.. NOT the SID (I remember I hadn't that one in windows.. I believe) Don't remember also if this happens in 1.1 version. -
ok.. will take a look closer.. but I cannot figure what it can be.... ghosts....
