I also have this problem. the N1 climbs until the engine catches fire. also, whenever im flying the CRJ it seems like the sim is "skipping." I usually get around 30-40fps, but then the fps will drop and then instantly recover, then repeat.

I bought it from the .org store on Nov. 26th. it says it shipped on monday but i have not gotten the tracking information.

I hope that they will have time to work on it. The MD82 is just one of the best aircraft ever, and i can't wait for the 3d pit.

I have 10 hours in a cessna 152, and have done about 30 landings (guess im not yet considered a pilot). Somtimes I do get that dread when landing in the 747. I guess can you just "feel" it, maybe it is the breakup of airflow overtop the wing as you come in. But as far as those FSX people go, they will never change and obviously they see X-plane as a threat to their business. Edit: Monopoly, lol. I think that MSFS flight- model is generic for every single aircraft, and has no uniqueness to it. I definitely think that the flight model in X-plane is inherently better, although it has its issues. I think FSX is boring, real life flying is Never Boring, neither is X-plane. So, X-plane is more realistic.

What about vnav for the fmc? That is what i am looking forward to the most

Whenever I fly the CRJ in the demo, for some reason i always get engine fires as soon as I start the plane on a 3nm final...weird.. Any1 know what could be wrong? Other then that it works fine.

Hello, i have been having some trouble with the t34 in the X-plane 10 demo. Whenever i select the aircraft i get a message saying that there is a bad airfoil and i need to update it if i want to fly. after that X-plane quits back to the desktop. Here is the airfoil it was referring to: Aircraft/aircraft/T-34c Mentor/airfoils/NACA 230165.afl . I dont have the slightest idea on how to fix it so any help with this would be great. Thanks

I have just had my first experience with X-plane 10. I actually got really good performance. Without turning much down and using the Cessna 172, i was able to 30-60fps easily. with the 747 i was getting around 25-30fps. System: AMD Phenom 1090t x6 3.2Ghz, W7, 8GB RAM, GTX 560 Ti OC.

I am still downloading, but from what you have seen so far, how do you think it will perform with an AMD 1090T x6 (6 core) 3.2ghz processor, Windows 7 64bit, 8GB DDR3 RAM, and a PNY GTX 560 TI OC?

I am thinking about buying Track IR, but it is pretty costly. So from what you have experienced so far with Facetrack, do you think it would be worth just getting Track IR or is there hope for FTNOIR? Thanks

I googled it and found a link to one, however it seems the link is broken and I get an error from X-pilot. So If anyone knows where to get one please tell me, or, someone put it up on the .org maybe? Well first of all the CRJ is great. no bugs at all for me. But i have 2 questions/concerns. 1) Where is the windspeed indicator?
