  1. I'll leave it up for a day or 2. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1192596/LES_Beechcraft_Duchess_POH.pdf
  2. I've refrained from making any posts about this topic, primarily as I am extremely busy, but also because I haven't purchased the Dash and can not form any opinion except for those based on screenshots, but I have to jump on this. Jack, I think you are way out of line to even let this thought (the one I quoted) enter your head. Yes, you did say "unless you are pulling the strings...", but that kind of comment still has no place in this thread. The reason I am saying this is because I, personally, (and Chip and/or Simon can freely comment on this) told Chip to be as brutally honest as he wanted to be on the Duchess and Sundowner reviews. The same goes for the Saab review if and when they do review it. To forget about being "nice" on any level when it came to reviewing anything Theo and I make. And I even told you the same thing before you reviewed the Duchess. Just keep it HONEST. No one in XA is pulling the strings over there. We have absolutely no pull whatsoever with Chip and Simon. No one owes anyone any favours between XA and the XP10 blogs. Chip and Simon are completely independent and to make any kind of suggestion otherwise is totally inappropriate. Other than that, I do wish you well on this add on and hope it brings you what you set out to achieve with it.
  3. Welcome to X-Plane and X-Pilot/X-Aviation, Steph If you need help or want to ask questions or simply say what's on your mind, don't be afraid to post. You'll find we're all a pretty decent bunch of people. Goran
  4. Send an email to Austin and ask about the number of USB modules that x-plane supports. I'm no tech wizard but if anyone can give you information on that issue, it's him. austin@x-plane.com If you are having issues, he may very well make an update that supports up to 200 usb modules, if it is indeed x planes fault. Goran
  5. A release date!? Nothing THAT simple.
  6. We're trying. But we are adding something that hasn't been mentioned yet.
  7. Thought I might post up a few screenshots in this section of the Saab forums of some flight testing I did last night. Making sure the autopilot behaves on both sides along with a few other little things. The night lighting is not working yet. That comes last and is simply 1 line of code for each object. We add that after the final export.
  8. Rest assured, when the Saab is done, you'll find me here... ...with no computers in sight.
  9. Speaking for those of us working on the project, You're welcome, guys. And thanks. Goran
  10. The project is still on. The dev that's making it has had to hold it for the time being. Other things have taken priority in his personal life. I have seen the src files and it's looking very nice.
  11. I thought I might make a post with a little information so you all aren't left in the dark about where we're at. I haven't been able to do so until now because I/we have been very busy with the Saab and other projects. Everything on the Saab is moving forward. I want to make that perfectly clear. Things are moving quickly but at times it can take a while to make the simplest system work like it should. The Saab isn't what it was going to be when we started it. My original plan was to make a turboprop and fill it with generics. It then evolved into something we never even imagined creating. I can't go into the custom systems just yet because there are simply too many to list. And when I say custom systems, I mean custom systems. That brings me to the next item. One of the systems that is requiring a lot of attention is the Autopilot. This is an extremely complex system on the Saab and is taking quite a while to code. Some modes are already armed on start-up by default on the real aircraft and we are doing everything we can to make this simulation almost identical to the real aircraft by coding these systems the same way. The autopilot alone has taken about a month or more to code so far. It is far removed from just tying a generic dataref to a button and exporting it. In saying that, it is very close to 100% complete and should be finished very soon. I cannot give you a date or time period because we just don't know at this point. Could be days, could be weeks. Most likely somewhere in between. As is the case with some developers, when we post nothing, then a lot of something is going on. Cheers Goran
  12. Back in the days, when I had a Pentium 90 with a 1MB Diamond Stealth video card (worth about $700 back then) and 64MB of RAM running Windows 95, the first sim I bought was SU-27 Flanker V1.0. And it was HUGE back then among the fighter aircraft community. We had competitions over our 33.6kbps internet connections. And it was VERY realistic in terms of physics for the time. The memories.... Since then, I've had Jetfighter III Flanker 1.5 Flanker 2.5 F22 Lightning Falcon 4.0 Janes F-22 (what a disappointment that was) then the MSFS series from FS98
  13. You'll find that sometimes (rarely) you may have to delete your preferences if the sim starts doing some odd things. Glad you got it sorted. If you feel like graduating from a twin engine GA to a "meatier" twin, the Saab will be coming very soon.

    Project 3

You can run it but without knowing the Graphics Card specs, it's hard to say. However, with those specs you posted, it's recommended you have a minimum of 512MB of Video RAM. If you have 256MB of Video RAM, you could run the Saab but you will probably have to turn down your settings for better performance. I have pretty much the same setup on Windows 7 with a 1GB graphics card and I'm hitting up to 43fps in the air with settings turned up
  15. Morten, you do realize I'm going to get Theo to seriously scrutinize that texturing. That looks INSANE!

    Project 3

Probably not. CPU and Graphics Card won't handle it.
  17. We're neck deep in Saab development at the moment so everything is on hold until that's out. Once that's done, we only have 1 or 2 animations to do, fix a portion of the 3D mesh on the roof of the cabin and add the flight model. If all goes to plan, the updated version should be out by end of this month or early next month.
  18. Friendly reminder... please post product specific issues in the proper forums. I check my forums very often. So far, I have received no email in my personal inbox. If it is a lost product, you will have to send an email to support@x-aviation.com outlining your problem. A new link will be issued for you to re-download the Duchess.
  19. There's still a a couple more things to do with coding. I'm still working on procedures but there's not much left to do. Still doing checklists as well. I'm guessing I'll finish the doc's right when the aircraft is finished.
  20. No problem, glad you got it sorted. Have fun with it!
  21. Please check your control assignments in the settings. I'm assuming they are set correctly since the yoke is working normally. I just ran a quick test and took some screenshots and all is working normally. If the control assignments are properly assigned, did you do anything at all to the acf file? If so, delete the entire package and re-install. Left Roll Right Roll Pitch Up Pitch Down
  22. You shouldn't have any problems. You're processor is faster than mine and you have more RAM and I'm currently getting 35 to 40 fps everything maxed out.
  23. I've been wanting to put this up for ages. Taken the day Nicolas THOUGHT the CRJ was vaporware
  24. Release candidate means release is very close
