very true, and sometimes i think that people forget that developers dont just hold back the releases for no reason. They refuse to publish an unfinished aicraft, and let's be honest, isn't it better that way .

My sister just came home today, telling me that in one of their classes they are starting to learn how to use x-plane. Apparently this is part of an engineering project where they will be building a glider from scratch using styrofoam and plastic only, and X-Plane will be used to get familiar with why and how airplanes fly. I was surprised to hear that even students in middle school now have the opportunity to experience something like this, and i couldn't believe that they will use X-Plane v9. Its truly unbelievable how far x-plane has spread across the world in such a short time-span. I hope I can be all the help to my sister when building the aircraft, and I hope this activity sparks some interests in aviation and x-plane in middle-schoolers. Below is an autolanding I did with an ERJ-170. I know the landing was a bit hard...but whatever . I'll keep practicing. PS: I didn't know if anyone here knew about this scenery, so i thought i might as well post this

My guess is because there's only specific taxiways it can travel through, good luck fitting an A380 on a tiny taxiway haha, yes . But isn't that why the A380 is only allowed to land at certain airports. C'mon ATC's, there aren't that many 380's out there.

i could see why the airport would hate it, but why the ATC's ?

the plane looks amazing, but i can hear my computer moaning and groaning at the thought of flying this bird at max-settings. will my macbook pro (2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB 1067 MHzDDR3) handle it or will i have to fly in CAT III conditions ?

I agree with Samen. v10 might be very expensive and "buggy" when released, and since v9 has so many excellent planes released for it already, I'd go with v9. Its only $30: go practice your skills, get used to the controls, comfortable with the simulator, and then be perfectly ready for v10 .
