  1. Ernest, I don't think you turned notifications on. You sent me another post, but did not read my response above.
  2. Ernest, the developer's name is Coop. X-Aviation is acting as a sales agent for the company (AFM) that develops this, I believe. Join the threshold forum (AFM Support Forum) and then you can make a post there. Coop is aware of the problem, and he told me he is working on a fix. Couldn't hurt for you to make your voice heard there as well. I'm as annoyed as you are. I spent over $500 for a RealSimGear gtn 750 bezel, so that I could increase my level of immersion. So, without a doubt, I would not have purchased this plane w/o that option. Here's the link to my posts about the problem at the developer's forum, so please add your voice to mine: https://forum.thresholdx.net/topic/2062-reality-gtn-750-not-in-m20-ovation-ii-panel/

  4. I just bought the M20 collection. The GTN is not integrated in the panel for me either. The GTN integration was the top reason I bought this product. It would be nice if someone could give us some definite information about this!
  5. I have Reality XP 750 installed in Xplane. It works with other planes that use this add on. However, with the M20 Ovation II, all I get is the Garmin 530. I can get the Reality XP popup, but there is no integration with the aircraft panel, which is the main reason I bought it! Shouldn't this be working automatically as IT DOES with all my other aircraft that use it? WHAT GIVES? Removed my plugins, and STILL doesn't work! Log.txt
  6. Hi, I also have 32GB, and a I have a 1080 video card with 12GB of video memory. No add-on sceneries, except for 2 airports (which I wasn't flying to). The plugins I'm using are commonly used.
  7. Well, the only plugins I have running are X-Camera, XPUIPC, Fly with Lua (tried with and w/o a script - no difference), Sim Coders - Head Shake, Skunk Crafters loader and X-Raas. I have to run SASL plugin with the Eclipse. But, when I fly the Premier 1a I deleted it. No difference. The airport plugins were all turned off. So, that's it for plugins. There are thousands and thousands of people that run those plugins: they are quite common. I run them because I use TrackIR, and they make TrackIR more functional (X-Camera and Head Shake). The simple truth is I value TrackIR more than I value SMP. I spent over $4,000 on the computer with the most up-to-date video card at the time (one year ago), and most people run many, many more plugins. There are people having problems with SMP, but not all report them on this forum, or even bother to report them at all. There are plenty of complaints on the X-plane forum. Some people love it, and some people hate it, claiming it kills their FPS. My FPS with SMP was actually decent, even slightly better when it was running compared to X-Plane's weather handling. The main problem was when it repositioned cloud layers it caused X-plane to crash. This seemed to happen when I was getting ready to land, after flying for about an hour or so. Very, very frustrating! It seems that the solution should not be to turn off all the features I really like (which are the half dozen plugins I use) to get SMP to work. If I had a corrupt installation, then very likely more than just SMP would be affected.
  8. I've reduced "cloud area covered" to the minimum, am using very few plugins, and have reduced my graphic settings. My video drivers are up to date. I have no choice but to remove SkyMaxx Pro, as I cannot complete a flight with it. I got the usual SkyMaxx Pro: Coordinate system changed; repositioning cloud layers."" right before x-plane crashed. Log.txt
  9. Removed RealWeatherconnector and added gizmo64 plugin and x-plane crashed while SkyMaxxPro was working with cloud layers. SkyMaxx Pro: Changing cloud conditions. SkyMaxx Pro: Will re-use cached cumulus congestus layer. SkyMaxx Pro: Created cumulus congestus layer alt 2372.662598 size 126000.000000 density 0.500000 SkyMaxx Pro: Will re-use cached cumulus congestus layer. 10. This time I added RealWeatherConnector and x-plane crashed. Log.txt METAR.rwx
  11. Hi Frank, So, I disabled most of my plugins and it didn't crash this time. I took out RealWeatherConnector. As I noted previously, The crash occurs after: SkyMaxx Pro: Coordinate system changed; repositioning cloud layers. The log showed no change in the coordinate system or repositioning of cloud layers. Would that be because I removed RealWeatherConnector which may be causing SkyMaxxPro to reposition cloud layers? I notice that before a crash there's like a giant pause or freeze. Now, the next time I run it, I will run it with RealWeatherConnector and see how that works. Craig Hardy Log.txt
  12. I'll try disabling some of my plugins, and see what happens. I don't really want to disable them all, as there are a few that I value more and won't fly without.
  13. Tried different aircraft. Doesn't seem to matter. Tried with many different METAR files as well. When I disable SkyMaxx Pro, the crashes stop. The crash occurs after: SkyMaxx Pro: Coordinate system changed; repositioning cloud layers. Anyone else experiencing this? SkyMaxx Pro: Coordinate system changed; repositioning cloud layers. --=={This application has crashed because of the plugin: [XPLM_PLUGIN_XPLANE]}==-- Log.txt METAR.rwx
  14. Yes, hopefully the fix is this week. My graphic options are: Unused, Full screen Monitor, Instructor Operating Station and 2D Panel only. Windowed Simulator is not an option, and gives too much distortion anyway. I'm running 3 monitors.
  15. Check the thread. I was simply responding to Goran_M who addressed a comment to me first. It was not the other way around. All of my comments have been responses to his comments to me. Should I have ignored them? You should have checked that before making your comment. I was minding my own business!
  16. Got that! The original comment I was responding to should have said X-Aviation and not Hot Start. Thank you.
  17. Excuse me, but I was responding to Goran_M who addressed a comment specifically to me. It was not the other way around. It was not me addressing him!
  18. The original comment I was responding to was "I've posted this twice - once here and once with Hotstart directly, never heard from Hotstart." So "here" is obviously the forum where you do read everything. And where the original comment said "and once with Hotstart directly" I assumed to be the same as the X-Aviation site. Am I wrong?
  19. Thank you for your reply! I was speaking through personal experience. About a week ago, a ticket was created concerning the issue I was having with a 3 monitor setup. I was expecting at least to hear back that you are aware of the problem and are working on it. That never happened. I was then told on this forum that the Hot Start site is only for sales and activation support. So, now you appear to be saying something different: that you do read every single question. I'm confused. Every single question is read and noted vs. only for sales and activation support? My comment was based on the latter being true, in which case one could come to the conclusion that non-sales and activation support questions may go unanswered on Hot Start.
  20. You'll be ignored at Hotstart, so don't bother posting there. According to Cameron, I'm the only one to make that error. You must have read on the website that you can submit ANY question. Not true. They want you to post on this forum only!!!
  21. Excuse my "newbie" question. But, you say that "We do support multi monitor set ups." Does that mean you're a part of the X-Aviation development team as an "advanced member"?
  22. I am experiencing not only green colors on the G1000, but also on my triple-monitor setup parts of the panel that appear in my main monitor are appearing out of place in monitors 1 and 3. There is quite a bit of flickering as well on the MFD. Those effects, rather than the green colors, are making this software unusable for me. Does that have anything to do with the green colors on the G1000? Will the green color issue also include a fix for that? I've submitted screen shots to show what I'm seeing, as it's somewhat difficult to explain. I would appreciate a response. I would like a response from a member of X-Aviation team who has the authority to speak to this issue.
  23. You accuse me of what you are doing. Sorry you find dealing with truth exhausting. I also discovered you have quite a reputation for hostility toward your customers.
  24. "If you have any questions, post them on the X-Pilot.com forums at the following web address." - Hot Start Documentation And, your website says: Please use the form on the right to contact us with any comments or concerns. Yes, it's a pretty purposeful word. If it's unclear and you're truly sorry and not trying to simply be sarcastic, then remove the word "any" from your website to make it clear, as the website nowhere states that it's limited to "sales and activation" as you claimed. Because as it stands now, the addressing of any comments or concerns can be made in either location. It's not defensive to point out that your statement concerning the above is not accurate based on what it written on the website. You purposely ignore that fact as you refer to the documentation only while ignoring the context of the forum reference in that same documentation which can be misinterpreted. You're the one who got defensive, because I mentioned that no one answered my ticket which is also factual (even with the response to report the matter to this forum which would have taken mere seconds). Customers should be treated with courtesy. Ignoring customers making an inquiry at the website is not courteous. "How ridiculous!", you say. It's amazing the number of ways you come up with to belittle your customers. "yes the green colors on the G1000 been reported. the fix is coming VERY soon." Sorry, I was not aware that mfd529 speaks on behalf of your company and as an authority on this matter. I thought he was simply another member of this forum. If he is simply another member of this forum, then no, it's not reassuring, and it's not ridiculous to ignore comments from someone who does not appear to be an authority concerning the fix. Also, the word "fix" is singular and refers to the green colors only. That is what it says, and it's not ridiculous to point that out! I am experiencing not only green colors on the G1000, but also on my triple-monitor setup parts of the panel that appear in my main monitor are appearing out of place in monitors 1 and 3. There is quite a bit of flickering as well on the MFD. Those effects, rather than the green colors, is making this software unusable for me. Does that have anything to do with the green colors on the G1000? Will the green color issue also include a fix for that? I've submitted screen shots to show what I'm seeing, as it's somewhat difficult to explain. I would appreciate a response without the attempt to ridicule.
