  2. YEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!!! Finally !
  3. Hey Hell good news !!! What do you mean by very soon ? ( For, It's this week or maybe next .. ) What about the prop picts ? Cheers, Valentin
  4. Hello, any news or release estimation for this very anticipated ACFT ?
  5. Yes but, you don't absolutely need that to be true. Setup I've stated above are really correct ! The thing I miss the most is the long shaft stick and Helicopter type Pedals..
  6. Hello dudes ! I'm fly helicopters 90% of the time in X-Plane, mainly Dreamfoil's R-22 and Jet Ranger, then some other stuffs, the MD902, BK 117, Mil MI-8, Hughes 500 D.. I love the R-22 and Jet Ranger, I'm impatient to see a high quality Huey or R-44 ( Maybe Conex would be more open to the R-44, as it is a training heli also ). For controls, I had the so pupular saitek X52. Then, one year ago I invested in a very high quality HOTAS, the Thrustmaster Warthog. It's main features are : - Reproduction of the real sticks and throttle of the A-10 US Bomber - Sticks, buttons, switchs, base.. in Metal, very heavy - Perfect quality for everything, aviation quality switches, 2 or 3 ways, constant pression etc.. - Very high axes resolution of 12 bits, 65536 X 65536 values So, even if it was designed for a fixed wing ACFT, the joystick handle is very similar to today's military helo, black, metal, with some hats for trims, a trigger etc.. Even if the throttle doesn't look a collective sticks, it allow very precise and fine adjustements, and the grey lever allow for engine power to be controlled ( for example, you start a turbine heli with GOV Off and full idle power, then slowly increase the power with that lever and finally, when normal OPS RPM is reached, switch on the GOV/Fadec ) I plan to buy this mod, that allow a longer stick for more precision around a small area ( as it increase the travel range due to the larger moment ) For pedals, I also got the Pro Combat Pedals from Saitek. I love the differencial brakes, but not best for helis, we should have ours heels constantly on the ground, pushing with the fore feet. Thats impossible in the PFC Pedals, yo have to move your whole leg, while move back the other.. http://www.mikesflightdeck.com/mfdb/mfdb_images/pedal_set.jpg Regards, Valentin
  7. I'm interested too, I would like to have some stats for sceneries for example. Because I would like to know more or less how well would sell my big package of Chernobyl NPP, Zone, Kiev airports pack that will be released in a year or so.. It's always motivating when you spend hundreds of hours into something that will be payware...
  8. I totally agree, I know that in this kind of hobby, the self satisfaction is important for the dev.. I just find useful to show some screen shots some weeks before the release, to that people have a look and get excited ( honestly, I don't know how we can get more excited ! ) they have a different eyes than dev ones, it's good to notice some points totally forgotten by devs..
  9. Impressive.. But I can't wait to see the main point of the 3D IMHO, the external model, fuselage, wings, stabs, control surfaces, engine, props etc.. But the cockpit is really outstanding.
  10. Any shots you'll give us will be like a big Breathe !! ;-) Keep up the good work Goran, you're the man
  11. I'm waiting for the day where every part of empty field will be filled with GRASS !! Real 3D grass like Austin let us think before... Some sims offer that http://www.dignews.com/legacy/screenshots/whirlwind_over_vietnam_02.jpg
  12. Slowly, but surely..
  13. Oh man.. awesome video ! Please Leading Edge, don't miss that Legendary Aircraft, I really hope ( and I'm convinced you will !! ) that every part will be precisely modelled such cowl flaps, flaps, nose shape, different hinges, prop hub & blades, landing gear, sounds, flight model, procedures etc.. If it will, that will be a best seller, there aren't actually any serious DC-3 around for both leading sims, nor X-Plane or FSX, the MAAM DC-3 is old now and avaible DC3 for X-Plane are just old too.. I keep praying to see it modelled in what I call " a Leading Edge level ", the most perfect thing among airplanes devs..
  14. lol ^^ remind me something about a certain B-17, I wasn't welcome that time..
  15. I would just add, with my humble experience. It's totally possible without plugins. For the might B-17, I changed the default values in the cockpit.obj file from 89.9 ° ( wrong, the props windmilled ) to 80,4 and then, no more windmilling. Just have to find the good value..
  16. Yes.. I hope before January end. Yes, the Beaver, this one and the future Huey are my most anticipated release for 2012 ( I hope ! )
  17. I believe, I admit I just CAN'T hold my patience anymore ! It was hard before but now.. I'll try to stay calm and nice though
  18. .. Happy new year baby Dakota, hope you'll see the sun soon ;-)
  19. Ok thanks for teh explanation Gjalp ! Slainte you !
  20. Yeah, I'd also love a more " true " shape of the nose windshield and the part behind the tail gun is a bit " fat ", need to be thinner.
  21. M Nice ! What does " Slainte " means ?
  22. Ventilation Chimney Finnished !
  23. Yes, I also miss the " Zoom out of space " function... I know its 100 % Useless but it make a particularity of this sim !!
