He is so young dude ... I was so stupid like him some years ago ( though maybe a bit more polite but somewhat very irritating, now I feel very shame ) Hopefully, it's been solved now ( I hope ? ) But that is sure he will only get hostile behaviors from people by acting like he does

Man, stop that now ... Pizza aren't as easy to make great quality ones ( Know what I'm talking about, my favorite meal ! ) You have to put good ingredients and have the skills to centrifugate the " pate "

Default feathered prop values are false and don't allow the prop to come to a stop due to windmilling ( feather angle should produce less drag as possible, so ideally it meant a 0° angle between relative wind and the blade's chord Adjust values in Plane Maker until you don't see any more prop turning in cruise speed when feathering them Normally in that kind of engine, you have to unfeather ( depress the red button ), and prop levers full forward. The electrically driven un-feathering pump should have enough energy to allow 2-3 unfeathering ( without any oil pressure as this engine is shut off ). With the blades slowly coming out of feather the prop should start windmill again due to relative wind and now, mags both On and mixture to auto-rich ( full forward ) Hope this helps, have no idea about the tank selection nor driver GPU though ...

This is a very unknown program. It is a user-created old app ( back in 2005 ), created under Windows XP, it is a motion coordinator simulator that is made for people like me who will attempt the Army Pilot tests. It represent more or less the platform we'll have to deal with during the test. As I said, there isn't any thing to configure in the little program, except " controller 1, controller 2 etc " like Controller 1 for warthog, two for SAitek pedals etc .... but on each one it choose the axis it wants without letting the user choose it !

Okay ! Look forward to this Beaver too ! Yeah, but you know the Pilatus is not very famous in the western world, while it is a real king here ( for skydiving, mountain flying etc ) all over Europe... and also very much in PNG ( Papua New Guinea ) It seems in the US, the real bush planes are beavers, old 185, DC-3, Otter, Twin Otter etc etc ... And I like the new Sherpa from STMA ! BTW, don't want to pollute the thread at all ( and please feel free to delete my post if you feel so ), but please at this thread. They originally planned to also do it for X-Plane... but seeing the huge success it has on FSX and P3D, it seems they don't feel necessary anymore to make it for X-Plane... but this one is definitely a legend up in the rocky mountains, inside passage etc ... All Canada and British Colombia... http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/72067-x-plane-10-variant-of-the-great-twin-otter/ http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/images/2013/07/09/Lrjs1.png

Hello This is not for X-Plane, but I think I'll find the best experts here ( Ben etc ) This is a problem I have on my other PC, running old Windows XP apps... it recognises my joysticks but assign the axis it wants by default ... and obviously, it isn't the most adapted ! For example, my Saitek Pedals : the program use the left toe brake axis instead of the normal rudder axis for the Rudder axis ... Is there any file to edit in a text editor to manually choose which axis to use ? This is very important please. I tried to open the application's DLL but all seems coded of course and un-readable ... Thanks

That shot is really breathtaking, during some seconds, it looks like a great Airliner.net photograph

This looks so nice ! But, the real 152 got a slightly positive dihedral angle. I assume you have put 0° here, and from a visual feeling it seems wings are lazy and tie down ;-) Don't know if it is hard to change at that point. Anyway, really glad you continue to support and greatly improve your product, much appreciated ! http://i22.servimg.com/u/f22/11/18/10/13/gfkjkk10.jpg

This is the Carenado Cessna 185, with bush pack extension I guess

Absolutely Ben

Copy that John ! I trust you on your word and I'm convinced it will be a must have... ;-)

The best thing I believe is to make your own one. I had really tough times learning myself that We are our own best advocates, as the saying goes... this is why I ended up starting the plane I wanted to be done correctly... It is hard to realize but the sooner, the better ( if you are really in love with that particular aircraft of course ! )

But man but .. !! Can't say anything to such screen shot .. That is unbelievable how clouds can change the environment in a flight sim ... because after all, X-Plane ground life is not bad at all when maxed out, even if too " North American " way of life, it's still realistic. As a real small GA pilot, the thing I like the most when flying " On top " VFR conditions, is the moment where I pass through the layer... the sensation of speed is definitely there at that precise moment, and it's IMHO a must to reproduce in-sim. I know you got the question from all sides, but what I only miss from those shots is the sharpness of clouds's edges, like this : http://www.freeimageslive.co.uk/files/images006/clouds_1.jpg Some cumuli shape clouds can get blurred with sky, but other are really really sharp and the contour is so well defined with a beautiful blue sky behind....

Hey hey sweet ! I'll have to listen that tune ASAP ! If i'm not wrong, BC, you're the bush pilot expert aren't you ? Didn't you started writing PDF stories about virtual bush stories in X-Plane ?
-
Yes ! Even if I don't get everything, I think the global idea is that it is tremendously UN-optimised ... Aïe aïe ... for a sim that pretended to be " much more optimized " than XP9 during its development ...

This Beaver will be absolutely awesome I think in the Inside Passage area... where it truly belong !

Glad such thread has been created ! I myself tried to contact Tom a while ago ( just found the e-mail today, was on February 2013 ) on his x-scenery mail address. Sadly, never got any answer ( maybe the mail never arrived its destination ) Anyway, I was very open to know if there was place for improvement, so any of us could contribute to the upgrading of this really nice default plane. On my side, I was ready to model new props for it and revise the whole engine management, as several things related to PT-6 turbine control aren't done in the current version ( Bêta range etc ). I don't know a single thing regarding complex avionic, this is why the idea of anyone putting his little piece of work ( where she/he is specialized ) is seducing I think.

That is fun, as when I was 15 ( not so long ago ), I made a similar thread over the .org ( which was quickly deleted BTW )... I think it is really a characteristic of our own ( young people ) to be such naive and optimistic... The idea is not stupid in its deep, but the fact is that we are humans, and humans got so much defaults than it is like asking " why all humans don't unit together to face the dangers and hazards of life ? Why not make a common universal currency etc etc ... that would solve ALL problems, but humans loves problems, fights, aggressiveness, power over the others, money, respect, being the best etc etc ... Working as a team would ( if the team is clever enough to not kill each other, which happen almost every time ) be so much efficient that it would leave no place for fails or bad things or low quality product ... and everyone would be happy ;-) Just keep in mind that humankind pretend to look for happiness... in reality they are constantly looking for conflict ;-( ( yes, I want to feel like an E.T )

Last pict is to die for man ... Finally... FINALLY ! For teh first time in X-Plane history, clouds starts to seriously looks like clouds ! This shoots looks like a fully " addonized " FSX picture ( that is a huge compliment from a graphical point of view )

Thanks

Really looking forward to what sounds to be a masterpiece. Pardon my ignorance, but please, can you tell me if this is a free turbine or fixed shaft type of motorization ? Those General Electric motors aren't as popular as PT6 and TPE331 and so I didn't find what kind of engine it was Thanks

Hello mj12345 Having a look at your .blend, all I can say is wow ! what an ambitious project ! You want to model all the interior and that is a nice idea ! But do you plan to make that B-29 fly in X-Plane one day ? Because, with more than a million vertices unfinished, how will it looks and be handled in-game when finished ? I'm myself for the details and totally understand a highly detailed model may require up to 800 000 verts, but so you have to put them when needed I think. Seeing a tire of 90 000 polygons, while it can be as detailed ( no visual differences with 10 000 )... put them where it's needed I think. And first, start from great detailed high res and accurate blue prints, because I doubt the vertical stab assembly belong to a B-29 ... Good luck mate , you seem to have much much motivation and that is the most important ;-)

Really top grade modeling ! Love all the details on braking discs, tire etc ... I just cannot imagine the whole bike

Any news ? Looking forward to your Pilatus !

Saab 340A Preview and Announcement! - June 24th, 2013
Hueyman replied to Cameron's topic in Saab 340 - Released!
Why being so harsh men, I didn't wanted to start the storm, just telling I got trouble on my " recently purchased products " and that I concluded it came from Gizmo as since I removed it ( and so am not able to fly them ) the troubles on the other ones are gone. No, I don't understand how it works I am not a programmer at all. And yes, I understand the marvels you can do on very complex aircrafts like the CRJ, and that Saab you are polishing for so long, I am convinced it is worthing the wait. I just thought old problems Gizmo had a year or so ago of being compatible with very little things and requiring a constant sim re load weren't over, it seems I was false. So sorry guys, keep up the good mood ;-)
