Hi I received an e-mail notice of the X-Plane 12 release of this aircraft for X-Plane 12. Downloaded and installed it (BN-2B-26 Islander) as suggested. Aircraft not responding at all. Only throttle, mixture and prop levers working. No buttons working at all. Maybe something I do wrong? Message on screen "Please remove or Update Plugin". Which Plugin are they talking about? Plugin Admin shows BN2 Islander by Torquesim but I can't enable it. hermannk1

I have been using both the SR20 Entegra and G1000 extensively in X-Plane 11, and had the same problem I am now experiencing in X-Plane 12. I installed the X-Plane 12 versions for both aircraft. Using a checklist and after studying how many X-Plane videos and even real live videos I can't start up the SR20 Entegra or SR20 G1000. I succeeded once, and that was all. It works fine when using the "start with engines running" option in the Configuration menu. That, however, is not how I want to do it. Help appreciated.

IXEG 737 Classic for X-Plane 12 Announcement
hermannk1 replied to Cameron's topic in General Discussion
I would most probably purchase the update of the IXEG B737, because I loved using this aircraft in X-Plane 11. Only reason - it is great!. I just think XAviation is doing this the wrong way around. I purchased this aircraft for X-Plane 11 on 11 Feb 2018, almost when this aircraft first came out. Me, and others like me, at that time supported XAviation and now they expect me to pay again for this aircraft. No update to the cockpit, which is understandable, because it is really great! People who purchased it less than a year ago get it for free? Pay for the passenger interior, which I never use? As a pilot I do not have time to sit in the passenger seats, or chat with the stewardess in the galley. That is a "nice to have" - nothing else. Can't wait for it to be available. I purchased several X-Plane 11 aircraft from XAviation. 9 of them to be exact (attachment). Will XAviation expect me to purchase all of them again for X-Plane 12? -
Thanks Ben! Worked like a charm. Being 72 years old, I changed the font size of Windows 10 a few weeks ago and completely forgot about it. On flight sims since MSFS came out on a 7" floppy disk many, many years ago-I think in the 80's or 90's somewhere. Went through all possible versions of FSX and almost every other sim. Switched to X-Plane 11 and see no need for MSFS2020. In my opinion just eye candy... In any case thanks for the help.

I downloaded the two aircraft in question's updates today, but get a Warning when trying to update. On the X-Aviation Customer Purchase Validation (very first screen), when trying to enter my e-mail address, I get the Warning that I "need to specify a value"! Got no idea what it means! First time this happens when trying to update. See screenshot.

I updated this aircraft to the newest version, 1.2.1, as soon as I got the e-mail about the update. An annoying image display on the G1000 panel. (See screenshots, both cold and dark and functioning). Whether this is intentional or not, it is annoying.

This setting seems to work. Whether this is 100% I am not 100% sure. Will still do some testing. Was not switched ON by default. Thanks for the help.

I deleted latest version 1.2.1 and installed previous version 1.2.0 with same results. I even tried another aircraft using the GTN 750 and it worked fine. Really do not know what the problem is. A shame because I really love this aircraft!

Hi I copied the above RealityXP.GTN.ini to the BN-2 Islander with exactly the same results. CDI not responding to the GTN750 GPS input. When setting GTN750 to VLOC, it works with no problem when a VOR is selected. As soon as I set GTN750 to GPS, it does not respond. Maybe I should delete it in entirity, load the version 1.2.0 and see how it responds. See whether there is a bug in version 1.2.1. New screenshot added.

I have been using the BN2 Islander for many hours and many weeks. Love flying it! After an absence of a few weeks I started it up again this morning and encountered a strange problem. Setting the GTN 750 up for a GPS/NAV flight from FALA to FAKN via WIV and DODOS, I can't get the aircraft to follow the GPS route. I chose GPS on the GTN750 and NAV on the AP. Aircraft turns North and keeps on flying North not following the flight plan course. The CDI does not respond at all to the GPS and Autopilot input. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Maybe this have been on discussion here before. The Thrustmaster Officer Pack Airbus Edition is currently my joystick and throttle combination. Is there any way to set the TCA Throttle Quadrant up and have a functioning reverse thrust? Feels stupid to have this option on the throttle and still have to use F1 to get reverse thrust. The rest of the setup works fine by the way. If possible the response curve setup. Would be appreciated.

I tried at various airports in South Africa, e.g. Lanseria (FALA RWY 07 freq 110.70) and at Johannesburg (FAOR RWY 03R freq 109.10). Localiser does not capture the localiser although it shows LOC and GS in the display. Seems as if the glide slope is coming alive though. Screenshot 1 shows NAV 1 set to FAOR RWY 03 R freq 109.10 and the aircraft have already overshot the glideslope/localiser. Screenshot 2 confirms that aircraft overshot localiser (Navigraph).

I've got the AVITAB plugin installed and it works fine as a stand alone feature in all of my aircraft, including the SR20. But.... For some reason I can't get the AVITAB on the right hand side of the SR20 cockpit to work. None of the commands on the AVITAB responding. I've switched on AVIONICS but still nothing.

Bought SR20, but can’t start or fly. Switch and click regions inop
hermannk1 replied to ArteeEdgar's topic in G1000 SR20
Starting is rather tricky. I had to watch a few real-world startups before getting the hang of it. Some of them set the fuel lever 1/2" up after priming and boost as suggested in checklist. When turning ignition they move the fuel lever slowly up and down until engine starts. Works for me. -
I am repainting the SR20, specifically for South African flyers and noticed a few quite annoying texture "glitches" on the fuselage of the SR20. Wing textures (see screenshot) Body textures below windows on side of fuselage (see screenshot). I am mostly very happy witht the SR20, though!

The popup of the G1000 works much better at this stage, however, it would be great if you can fix the click spots. I found that the click spots on the right hand G1000 also have problems.

According to the posts in this forum I have to create a folder called "Coroutes" in the IXEG 737 Classic root. I did that and saved a few flight plans from Simbrief. When trying to import them into the FMC I get the message that a "Coroute" (without "s") folder can't be found. Even changed the folder to Coroute (without the "s"). Have to manually insert a flight plan. What is the problem? If I save a flightplan from the FMC it accepts it as being saved. Where did it save it? Hermann Kühne Vanderbijlpark South Africa
