  1. The german HQ of CRJ development: I also have a Saitek Yoke and Pedals, but during development I need only my keyboard, a piece of paper and a pencil. And lots of tea of course!! Philipp
  2. What does your plugin version read? 1.3.0 or 1.3.1 ? Philipp
  3. No, the shadows have been there all the time. In this shot there's actually only one change (apart from those already numbered by MdMax and Dhruv), but this is a major improvement for a really large number of airports. So anyway, my hoster has a DNS fuckup right now which is why you can't see the picture I posted on my website. My website is unaccessible right now because the DNS entry is apparently lost and my mailserver is down also. I hope my hoster fixes this soon... For the time being, a new screenshot with quite a few changes to spot: Philipp
  4. Round One Score Dhruv : MdMax 3:2 Round Two:
  5. Dhruv scores 2/5 points. You both missed a very tiny detail. It's really tiny, but you are going to like it. Philipp
  6. It's on sale already. 39.99€ in Germany. Scenery is Switzerland only. Nonetheless definitely an interesting product. If they have global scenery one day, who knows....
  7. MdMax earns 2 out of 5 points Philipp
  8. Remembering where you left the popups and reopen them at the same place is on my list. Resizing however is a bit more difficult, since a good scaling requires a lot of computing power to make it appear smooth - you don't want jaggy lines blurry pixels on the screens. Position persistence: definitely. Resizing: Maybe. Philipp
  9. I refer you to the work in progress forum.
  10. Who said only Javier is allowed to post work-in-progress shots? This is fresh from the avionics bay: Question: How many differences from the current FMS can you spot? Enjoy! Philipp
  11. No more FPS drop when LEGS page visible. This is a big improvement over the old version. So you can now expect the same performance regardless if you entered a long flightplan or displaying a lot of waypoints. Philipp
  12. When I last checked, they work on Windows with nVidia also with HDR on. On Mac it didn't work. However, given how fast Ben fixed it on Windows (between 10.01r2 and 10.02) I'm sure it won't take long until the effect works on all other platforms. Philipp
  13. you can check two things: What does the aircraft icon say? It must say v.1.3 in the left corner, and X-Plane 10 in the right corner. If the text X-Plane 10 is not on the icon, you don't have the X-Plane 10 version installed. What does the plugin version say? In the Plugin Admin, Plugin Information the CRJAvionics pugin must be v 1.3.0 Philipp
  14. The remote CDU uses Javascript. Nothing more. Is there by any chance an option to disable Javascript in mobile Safari that you ticked on the iPad?
  15. Simmo, that's definitely not the latest version you are flying there. The new lighting in X-Plane 10 looks way better. Philipp
  16. Okay, found it. Here's the deal: X-Plane 9 first loads scenery, then the airplane. X-Plane 10 loads the plane first, then the scenery. Plane gets loaded, and initialized, many variables zero. Among them, N2 RPM. But when started with engines running, the fuel valve is open. In X-Plane 9, since scenery is loaded, it will instantly start to fly an N2 RPM immediately go to 80% or so. In X-Plane 10, it would sit with 0% N2 for as long as it takes to load the scenery. Now my logic detects a hot start, because you added fuel while the N2 RPM is below 15. And if it takes longer than a few seconds to load, my logic senses that the pilot is too stupid to pull back the cutoff switch -> engine fire is sheduled to occur. I will fix this, for the time being you have two ways to work around it: -Startup X-Plane with a default plane, so that scenery is already loaded when you switch to the CRJ -Select cold start and fire up the engines yourself, and of course "by the book". But that 's of course hard on your 15min demo time. That's why I love my little USB key ))) Philipp
  17. Hey, did you try the MacBook, the iPhone and iPad all at the same time? Because that might be a problem. Demoing at FSWeekend we faced the problem that a lot of people connected to our WiFi because at first it had no password, and when we used Javier's tablet, it was so slow that it seemed it doesn't connect. I shut down the WiFi access, secured it with a password, and made sure only Javier's tablet connected - voila, worked perfectly. I think in your excitement you accidentally DDoS'd yourself by connecting many devices to the CDU. The remote CDU is thought as a remote control for ONE device. You rarely have three or four people with iPads sitting in your room all clicking on your FMS at the same time ! Other than that, I can't imagine why it would work on the iPhone, but not the iPad, since it is both a Safari browser after all. Philipp
  18. Can you try selecting cold start and see if it happens if you start the engines "by the book"? Does anyone with X-Plane 9 have this problem? Philipp
  19. Does this happen when starting with engines running or when startung from cold-and-dark?
  20. @schrader501: Same question: Do you have IPv6 support disabled? Philipp
  21. @jdgier: 1. Tried using the new installer as Cameron wrote in the post above you? 2. Did you disable IPv6 support on Ubuntu? Because the CDU server is Dual-Stack and may fail if you disabled IPv6 connectivity. Philipp
  22. The problem is I can't set a fixed screen size, because the real FMS doesn't have the same dimensions as an iPad. And also iPad is a tablet with 4:3 screen, most Android tablets are 16:10. So I decided to stick with the widht/height ratio of the original graphic, and let the user pinch-to-zoom until it fits on his device, whether it is an iPad, GalaxyTab, Kindle Fire, or whatever... Philipp
  23. I think I know what's wrong - XP doesn't support dual stack by default. Enable IPv6 as per this microsoft support document: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/sag_ip_v6_pro_inst.mspx?mfr=true And then try again. Philipp
