Hello, ACARS was on but not IPAD sound. My fault on that one. Performance report was handled as you desribed and still got nothing. The LOG said igoconnect callback loop invalid application has crashed. I will reinstall plugin, and save log file for you. Thanks Rob

I bought it, got no cabin announcements, no performance review, and worst of all, crashes x-plane on exit every time! Oh well, it was worth a try for 4.95.

Hello, If possible, could you please make these datarefs available for the following, AFDS annunciators Autopilot modes that are annunciated in the EADI. Say when I have heading mode active and vor/loc is shown in white. Need a dataref for the Armed AP mode Flight Director deflection in degrees. ( you don't seem to be using x-planes default) Distance to next waypoint as shown in the CDU Below G/S N1 Ref Bug input dataref Thanks, Rob

I totally understand as I have 2 kids myself. Oh and by the way, if you have a dog, you can relate to this! LOL Video showing VOR tracking issue and bad dog lol https://www.twitch.tv/raflyer/v/84406873

Gizmo / X-plane crash when sending datarefs
737NUT replied to Slayer's topic in Hardware/Cockpit Dev
Thanks, I use Teensy hardware and the plugin designed for them. I know what has to be done. I have to get someone who knows how to program to change the plugin by sloooooowing it down so it doesn't send to much to fast. Or I just give up and fly the stuff that works. Bummer as I have quite the platform to fly the 733 on. Gizmo for the win. Rob- 42 replies

Gizmo / X-plane crash when sending datarefs
737NUT replied to Slayer's topic in Hardware/Cockpit Dev
Wow, ok, that's a turn around from your earlier post. I am not a programmer, just a dumb pilot. But this dumb pilot knows one thing for sure. I have no problems with my 3rd party plugin and hardware with SASL based 3rd party aircraft in x-plane. Why? Don't know and don't care, it just works and that is what i want and need. If Gizmo won't play nice with my dumb 3rd party plugins then so it be it. It's a shame but hay, at least you got a 75.00 donation for building a very cool 733. Link? Last I heard hotfixes were mailed to customers who purchased the 733. Unless that post was sarcasm? In that case, guess i'll get a refund. Regards, Rob- 42 replies

Gizmo / X-plane crash when sending datarefs
737NUT replied to Slayer's topic in Hardware/Cockpit Dev
When is the update going to be released? 1.0.3 still doesn't work for me. Gizmo pukes out in less than 2 mins with my hardware hooked up. Thanks Rob- 42 replies

Using my real MCP, I am writing to the default x-plane 10 dataref for course input, In the IXEG 733 the EHSI shows my course that is selected correctly but the course window in the MCP is not correct. Are you guys manipulating the default data to the MCP? Not a huge deal as it seems to work fine just not displaying correctly. Thanks, Rob
-
Simple, the 3 you listed as working are general x-plane datarefs. The list you have not working are IXEG specific commands and datarefs and until CPFlight addresses this it will never work.
-
Have fun with that LOL!!!!!!!! To each his own. I get it, you leg hump arduino based boards and I leg hump Teensy boards. Move on, nothing more to see here. Let each do their own research.

Gizmo / X-plane crash when sending datarefs
737NUT replied to Slayer's topic in Hardware/Cockpit Dev
I see a 3-4 FPS drop in the 732 that uses SASL when I turn on all my interfaces. I'll accept that as normal and minor for allowing all the control I need. Rob- 42 replies

Gizmo / X-plane crash when sending datarefs
737NUT replied to Slayer's topic in Hardware/Cockpit Dev
Thanks Ben, Please know i am in no way trying to knock Gizmo, I just know that here are the facts in my own little world. FlyJSim 732, using SASL, I have zero issues using my arduino based interfaces reading and writing to over 200 FJS specific Datarefs. I load the IXEG 733, instant 10-15FPS increase!!! Awesome, so yes Gizmo is efficient in that term. But, will not handle one of my interface cards without a crash. So in my lack of knowledge I blame Gizmo. I know it's not fair but its all I got. Again thank you so much for putting the effort in to help the minority of users. Rob- 42 replies

Just an FYI for anyone wanting to use standard Arduino and the aforementioned great free software interface from Vlad, From his page and I quote, " Up to 9 Arduino boards of any type, both USB and LAN, can be connected to your X-Plane PC. " Obviously my project isn't a standard project but if you are going to build a large scale sim and interface with all the lights and hardware, that is limitation. It all comes down to personal preference, programming skills, desired functionality and ease of maintenance. I have 20 boards in my sim now and need at least 10 more. Rob

Gizmo / X-plane crash when sending datarefs
737NUT replied to Slayer's topic in Hardware/Cockpit Dev
Interesting find but true not a great way. I can put delay's in my program but then you risk missing events. I hope Ben can get it sorted out. I have 20+ USB devices trying to talk to the 733 and Gizmo says get lost, to much for me to handle lol- 42 replies

Gizmo / X-plane crash when sending datarefs
737NUT replied to Slayer's topic in Hardware/Cockpit Dev
Yes, that is correct. 1 and 0 to the datarefs depending on switch state, The commands are sent a 1 then 0 to act like a push button, these are going to the MCP- 42 replies

Getting crashes on mine as well when trying to read/write datarefs. Of course I have 20 devices banging data away it. Rob- 42 replies

Here is the dataref I just tried. It's the co-pilots side, does the same thing as captain's side. You can see the switch move in the 3d cockpit when I depress the physical switch. Th goofy tilt occurs constantly even though it is a totally different dataref. MastrCauSW = XPlaneRef("ixeg/733/caution/caution_reset_cpt_act"); And the code snippet, MasterCauSW.update(); if (MasterCauSW.fallingEdge()) { //Read Pilots Master Caution SW MastrCauSW = 1; } else { MastrCauSW = 0; }
-
I am trying to program the master caution sw to my hardware. Watching the dataref viewer when I push the button I see the rest_act dataref go from 0 to 1 then back 0 when I release the button. But for some reason the tilt dataref keeps going nuts constantly on the switch even though I have nothing programmed to that dataref. I tried it as a float and an Integer. Same result. Rob
