thanks for this tip, my worries with lost assignments in x-assign belong to the past (hopefully) but in order to get it correctly configured I had to do something I kept on pushing out: RTF(Lua)M. Scary at the beginning, it turns out to be soooo powerful if you are open to do some soft-core coding

many third party add-ons use custom commands through plugins, however, X-plane does not allow to store custom config per plane.I use the X-Assign plugin to save plane specific joystick configs. although it is not perfect either, some interference with other plugins tend to wipe out some assignments I believe, it does save you some time as most buttons stay put.

http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/120367-good-jet-to-buy/&do=findComment&comment=1162527 I suspect a big part of this misinformation is generated by the growing buzz at the other side of the Force... tried to reply but I am censured, even just stating that I have no issues with the plane I'm not allowed to

and let me add to this wonderful description, those little "bugs" are exactly what keeps me flying this thing, because I have to continuously be aware what is happening, hand check my vnav path, make sure those max and min speeds are respected on approach etc etc.. so much to do this way, but it is sooooo addictive

it has been said several times, last one is from Ben himself, but I agree, it' not easy to find... 2 or three pages up this thread in regards to the statement about no limits simulation, agree, very nasty and misleading!... try to understand "the cockpit" as "the Virtual Cockpit"... does it make (common) sense? -

couldn't you guys do a quick 1.1 preview video to stop this dead project/team rubbish. it would probably bring some good vibes into this whole discussion -

I don't think a real world pilot would be wasting his precious time here answering user questions and or rants in the forums if this project/team was dead. -
very very very buggy? can't confirm that, the only bug that affects me is the one with some stars crashing the fmc, for now I avoid those airports. unfinished? for me it has what a jet needs. I do not care about eye candy and other stuff not vital for flying. Jan's post about what would not make it into v1.0 is pretty straight fwd. more to come... but not unfinished from my POV cute? definitely addictive? my wife confirms

Having run through roughly the same experiences and sims, owning a few pmdgs and other stuff, I can state the following: If you want to fly rather than just operate a computer and fmc is there to assist you and not to fly your plane, this add on will be your favorite. By far. of course, If you fly it on what it has been built for (XP10 for the time being) and as it is intended to be flown (do watch the unique tutorial videos made by experienced rw pilot Jan, even if you have 1000s of hours in the NGX, this one is different and you will learn a lot). To me this plane is worth every penny and if I compare to other planes, the miles flown per dollar spent are significantly higher. Bottom line, personally it is much more fun to fly than any pmdg. I went back to p3d Twice in 2 years, just because of the T7 and I only wish I would have switched to XP earlier. Sent from mTalk

ya me gustaria que algun avion de los que tengo comprados y que pretenden ser versiones finales o continuamente actualizadas estuviese al nivel de este "no terminado" I wish some of the pretending to be finished and continuously updated airplanes i own was at the level of this "to be finished one" -

if you search a bit further you will also understand what this other project is or was and that it is linked to what all are crying about. and if you add two and two you might come to a similar conclusion as I did... nobody better to know what these xp11 updates need to be ... patience! fly XP10 someone should pin this to end this discussion. -

I have watched some of your streams and since you are not the worst online pilot I trust you should definitely be able to do holding patterns. just not the computer way, more the fun manual way ... venga Raygan, que este avion merece la pena de volarlo a manopla! -

they call that frame rate killer '11 compatible? honestly, I prefer the modified default 737 by Zibo if I have to pick one, but we're talking decent quality payware here, and btw why's the topic drifting off... mea culpa -

and where would you suggest we should go to? FF, JAR or maybe SSG? even with its current bugs this add on is light years ahead and better flyable than anything else available (if you use it for/with what it was built for of course) but I suspect you must have had a very frustrating experience realizing that you probably should have read the requirements before buying. -

if it does not behave like it does in XP10 I won't be able to enjoy it... flight model does matter, especially trying to slow down on short final to KSAN RWY29 if you see what I mean -

I would start by reaching out to Carenado on their forums... Not sure those guys monitor X-Aviation ;-) use google, find Carenado and leave them a message, i am sure someone will help

this is known as the old Boeing pre-flight suspension check -
I haven't and would probably never notice if there was a difference, but as a single pilot w/o FO I am way too busy in the cockpit with all those dials, knobs, gauges, etc to notice such things. ... not that I wouldn't care, well, as a matter of fact, I don't.

this is part of the reason of this whole thread... some of us have noticed a weird behavior due to modified engine models or whatever LR decided to add (welcome to the club), and do understand the solution might not be that straight forward and require time to match minimum quality standards, some are a bit less patient and argue that if vendor X can do it with Tupperware plane Y quick (and dirty), why not the IXEG team. -

comparing our IXEG to these simulations hmmmm... you should have understood that by now, it does not compare.. different league -

Do any of us fly a 733 to know the flight model isn't tuned to the exact specifications your team demands? No. Do most of us care? No. Would we like to have a plane that at least works in XP 11...I would. Call it a beta, a work-in-progress...whatever you want. Realistically, the 737-300 was never really out of beta (based on your definition of beta) in the first place. Yes, you fixed several problems early but the plane still won't turn to the final approach into several airports...confirmed bug months ago and not yet fixed. That's fine. The soft crashes are the killers. The IXEG is obviously a favorite and we want to use it...that's quite the compliment to your team. You should feel flattered rather than angry. Thanks and good luck, hope to fly it in XP 11 soon. -- Greg we do care, we know how it behaves under '10 and it does definitely not behave the same in '11 and till IXEG isn't ported, '11 is not my default sim, I continue enjoying my '10, which simply is what it was made for
