  1. Thanks for the tip. I'm not sure I want to add ANOTHER plug-in (on top of my many other plug-ins) just for one axis lever though.
  2. If you are able to get around the condition levers having to be re-assigned, will you be using the 'mixture' assignment for joysticks? It's basically un-used right now for the Saab. In fact, sometimes when I load the aircraft with the mixture in the 'off' or fully down position, the engines wont start. I have to restart the aircraft with the mixture assignment slightly up.
  3. I guess I wasn't clear in my post but I'm just trying to re-download the CRJ, I'm not expecting it to come with Blue Sky Star's sounds, I already bought that add-on. I'm on a different computer and I need to get the CRJ I purchased but for some reason they limit the life of the link and the number of downloads.
  4. Now I just have to get around X-Aviation's pesky downloading rules. My link expired so I must now wait for them to get back to me even though I have 2 downloads left. I don't know if they realize their customers are annoyed by this limitation, but it's why I prefer to buy things from the .org. Anyway I can't wait to try out the CRJ again with a fresh set of sounds!
  5. I'm not really sure where this program comes into play.. The product says that you wouldn't be able to see a front of weather ahead of the airplane because it's impossible to access real weather data in far out distances. But if I'm using FSGRW with the default X-Plane clouds, this isn't a limitation as far as I can tell. I can see different types of fronts all the time, and fly into overcast from clear skies in some situations. So is this plug-in specifically tailored to get around Skymaxx Pro's short comings (not being able to render weather far out) ? Secondly, I know X-Plane can render only 3 layers of clouds (vertically), which is a huge limitation in my opinion, does this plug-in circumvent that limitation? And if so, do you NEED skymaxx Pro to take advantage of that? -Kris EDIT: Spelling and grammar
  6. Mmerelles thank you!
  7. Hi everyone, I just wanted to say first off that I'm loving this airplane. The sounds, the 3D cockpit, the detail with systems modelling is all very impressive. I'm still learning this airplane, so forgive me if this question is a little premature, but when I tune to any ATIS frequency on my COMMS panel, I don't get the text or audio of the weather. I went through the checklist a few times, I made sure to reset the generators before switching them to on, and all avionics switches are on. All lights on the overhead are extinguished. I made sure to make the frequency I tuned active as well, obviously. Does this work fine for everyone else? The frequency I tuned to was from Lihue airport, Kauai. 127.2. I tried it in the Bell 407 and the frequency works. Anyway, any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Kris
  8. I just wanted to chime in because I just recently bought this plane for X-Plane 10.36. I loaded the plane, clicked auto-start, and it just gets stuck at 39 degrees C and ~20% RPM. As I am writing this, the "Do not disturb" message is just blinking, and the plane is stuck in this start-up. This is also happening every time I "reboot" the aircraft. I have not tried restarting X-Plane yet, and the last airplane I was flying was the Bell 407. I don't have any axis set up for the condition levers, as I am using all the axis for mixture and prop for other aircraft. Hope that helps! A new customer, Kris
