I honestly remember reading somewhere that he said it would be $30+, but I can't find the post.
  2. Hawaii! A wonderful choice.
  3. The 150 in general would be a great addition. How different is it from the 152?
  4. If you'd like some of the experts here to give some tips, I'd recommend posting wireframe views instead of what you have up there now. Looking forward to seeing what you can do!
  5. Now this is something I would pay a load of money for if it covered my neck of the woods. Can't wait to see the screenshots!
  6. Hoo, $30! I'll wait for XP10...
  7. I do believe he was simply replying to the topic in general... usually people quote a post if they want to reply to someone in particular.
  8. Could the cracked glass image be changed with the livery?
  9. Personally, I keep all my payware in a separate folder and pull the folder out whenever I do batch updates. Keeps issues like this from coming up.
  10. Built this rig about a year ago now (all for free, too!) Windows XP Service Pack 3 150GB Seagate Hard drive NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT (1GB) Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz 2GB RAM Saitek AV8R Joystick I have X-Plane running at about 70-80 fps in normal scenery, drops no lower then 30 when flying high-detail planes with HD scenery.
  11. Could there be a process where liveries are made using a paint kit, then submitted to you to be included in the next update?

Only one "n" by the way. Penair. :-X Can't wait to get it out and start flying out in rural AK.
  14. Excuse me if I'm wrong, but I've been under the impression that imagery from Google maps/earth can't be re-distributed...
  15. I guess this really goes for all products sold here, not just the MU@ and the Falco, but... would it be possible to use the technology you have to give a free trial period for your aircraft/scenery? I've seen a couple places in the MSFS world that do this sort of "10 day free trial" thing, and I'm simply curious if it would work here. On one side, it could lower sales because people who would normally just buy would now get the free trial, decide they don't like it, and not buy it. On the flip side, a usually hesitant buyer could get the free trial, find they really like it, and end up buying the aircraft. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
  16. I basically only fly heavies, I find it fun to find a plane and airline which flies a route, "fly" it, then do it again. Up to 280 flights, and almost 900 hours so far, in the past year or so. So, uh, heavies.
  17. Two suggestions, turn down some options in your "pixel shaders" area and change the "world detail distance" option to very low.
  18. When you reply to a post, open the "additional options" tab and choose your screenshot from there.
  19. Check the weather tab to make sure the visibility is set high. If that doesn't work, a screenshot of the rendering options page would help us figure out some better settings for you.
  20. 152 = 8) You're a very lucky person to be able to do these sort of things... glad you enjoy it!
  21. Ah I see, had to open additional options... thanks!
  22. Bummer that we don't have the ability to upload videos here, I'd be happy to do that. Might just end up posting it on the .org if I do one.
  23. You did almost exactly what I did for long flights until I figured out how to use it. The method I use now is much faster and easier: Press "Init" (initiate plan) Press "Airp" (airport) Type, or click I guess, the ICAO code of your destination airport Takeoff, AP on to v/s, climb speed, whatever else you would normally use --If the direction you took-off in is more than, say, 90 degrees of the direction to your destination, use heading mode to line it up. "Source" knob to GPS/FMC Press "LOC" (localizer I assume) Press "EXEC" (execute) You can use the same method to plug in multiple points if you wish (useful for lining up with the runway) You may find this site to be helpful. EDIT: I got beat! A little different method, but either works.
  24. Glad to see you back.
