  1. You've obviously already figured out the problem (converted YVR). Apparently something went wrong with the conversion that X-Pane doesn't like. I'm not sure anyone would be willing to spend the time to fix YOUR conversion, especially since you are unwilling to spend the time recreating the error and providing the log.txt!
  2. Re: Red lines... see this.
  3. The quantity will not go to zero when the aircraft is not loaded. We didn't want to force the user to have to use "virtual" oil cans and refill the system after a long layoff Note: Technically, hydraulic oil is virtually uncompressible, unlike pneumatics. So, it only takes a small leak (very little oil volume) to reduce the pressure significantly. In addition, once the system is de-pressurized, you have less of a leak or maybe none at all! Completely draining the oil supply is unlikely and therefore not something we modeled.
  4. You don't have to do anything. Once the Saab has power, the hydraulic pump will run and bring the pressure back up to normal.
  5. Jamie, Yes, the hydraulic system leaks continuously, even during flight. We had three real-world Saab 340 captains as consultants on this project, and they all confirmed that the system leaks to the point that the pump will run 2-3 times per hour. Keep in mind that the amount of fluid lost does not have to be significant to have the pressure drop to the point of tripping the pressure switch. As to the "details" when recreating the problem... it is very helpful to know what steps you took just prior to the issue occurring. ie. does this only occur on the first flight?, Was the Saab loaded when the sim was first loaded, or was there another aircraft loaded first?. Does this only occur after takeoff, or only in flight?, Were the flaps extended or "in the process of extending? (same for the gear). Situations and circumstances that are repeatable to create the problem are what we are looking for.
  6. Jamie, In addition to the items you mentioned, we have modeled "leakage" in the hydraulic system. Over time the hydraulic pressure will diminish and the pressure switch will activate causing the pump to re-charge the accumulators. We also track how long it has been since you last used the Saab in X-Plane and then calculate the leakage accordingly. So, if you load the Saab after a long period of time the hydraulic system will leak and the pressure will diminish. If you load the Saab after only a short period of time, the pump should not run as the system will not have leaked enough. The pump SHOULD NOT run continously unless you override it. If that happens please report back with all the details to recreate the issue and I will investigate.
  7. I have corrected the display of the course pointer to fix the above noted issues. This will be included in the next update.

  9. It's just NOT that simple.
  10. I believe I have found the issue that was causing this problem. Look for a fix in the next update.
  11. I have attempted to diagnose this and cannot recreate this issue. As of now I will consider this closed unless someone can provide specific steps to produce this problem.
  12. Yes, the keys (assigned to standard X-Plane commands) should work fine. However, The Saab throttles have detents and the keys will not override the detent. In flight you will be able to adjust the throttles as long as you don't go into the "Flight Idle" detent.
  13. Since the log indicates that X-Plane crashed because of smartcopilot2, you should contact the developer of that plugin.
  14. What you are asking about is standard X-Plane functionality, which is explained in the manual included in your X-Plane installation (Instructions folder). The trim button on the yoke in the Corvalis is not functional as it would be impractical. However, aileron trim and elevator trim can be controlled with keystrokes OR you can assign a joystick button/switch. See the appropriate chapter in the X-Plane manual as well as the "Settings" > "Joystick and Equipment" menu in X-Plane .
  15. That's the standard tool bar icon for the Gizmo console window, it cannot be changed.
  16. I don't see any "warning triangle" in the screen shot of the console window that you posted. The speaker with the "X" means you have sounds turned off in X-Plane.
  17. Those messages in the Console window are NOT errors and have nothing to do with the problems you are reporting.
  18. Brad, Thanks for the feedback... I will look into this.
  19. Seems to me you are experiencing a different probelem. You are stating that the problem occurs on landing whereas Brad was reporting a problem while taking off. In addition, there are several different GPWS warnings. I would need to know which warning you received. Other parameters are critical as well, such as radio altitude, speed, vertical speed, flap status, gear status, etc. The more info you give, the better chance I have of finding the bug (if there is one). Just telling us that you have a problem without giving us any details is not helpful.
  20. Brad, Did this occur when you first opened the sim and loaded the Saab, or was this after another flight with the Saab or any other aircraft? The only thing I noticed is that you retracted the gear very soon after takeoff, which my have triggered the alert but I would have to look at the logic of the GPWS to be sure.
  21. Hopefully before the end of the year. No promises.
  22. This has been addressed for the next update. In the meantime just open any of the default X-Plane aircraft, adjust the altitude to be less than 31000, and then reload the Saab. Alternatively, if you know how to use DataRef Editor, you could adjust the value using that.
  23. Perhaps you didn't look hard enough? ... Satellite image of Northern California
  24. 5760 x 1080? Is that right?
  25. Most likely this year, but no guarantees.
