  1. So you want to discuss third party (ORBX) ad-on scenery compared to stock XP10 default scenery? Doesn't seem like the right place to start.
  2. Kris, Can you tell me why those aircraft are incompatible with FSE?
  3. My question is... why?
  4. Gabriel, Maybe you mis-stated what you were doing when you had the CTD? With ONLY the batteries on, you CANNOT turn on the avionics. However, even if I turn the batteries on and put all the avionics switches in the on position, and then turn the weather mode dial to ANY position, I do NOT get a CTD. Please clarify what you are doing o create this CTD.
  5. Tom, Are you saying the classic doesn't have serial numbers or heater elements on the windows?
  6. I tend to agree with you! The taxi and landing lights have been adjusted and will be included in the next release.
  7. Thanks Albert!
  8. Albert, The Flight Plan can contain up to 96 waypoints. Use the large FMS knob to select the pages in the Active Flight Plan window. Also, please start a new thread when you have a new subject to discuss. Your question had nothing to do with the original post.
  9. Care to elaborate ?
  10. Yes, the "Mode DIal" is functional. You originally stated that you were getting a CTD, now you are stating that you see "green zones". I'm still unclear as to what problem you are having. Setting the Mode Selector Dial on the WXP to "WX" will select the weather radar. If the Sector Dial is set to "RR" on the Display Control Panel then the weather radar image will display on the EHSI. If you are seeing "all green", it is probably because the range on the weather radar is too small. You can adjust the range using the "Range Dial" on the Weather Radar Control Panel.
  11. I will assume you mean the Mode Selector Dial on the WXP ? If so, please explain what exactly you are doing that is causing a CTD.
  12. I'm not sure what you are referring to. There is no "wxt" button in the Saab. Please clarify.
  13. Albert, Glad it worked out for you. Jim
  14. If that is the case, there is something corrupt in his install and he needs to download a new copy.
  15. You could turn on the overhead light (push the light lens in the center of the overhead console). In addition, the cursor will change to tell you when you are over the knob. The real aircraft does not have a panel "flood light".
  16. Correct, the "real world" aircraft has no rudder trim but does have elevator and aileron trim, which are all modeled accurately.
  17. As I stated... ALL the light switches are in their proper positions in the 3D cockpit... In addition, I have made accommodations for the panel and instrument dimmers so that they are more easily accessible. Reading the POH would help... see Pg. 100.
  18. That is not a bug. The light switches are located in their proper positions in the 3D cockpit (just like the real aircraft). For obvious reasons they cannot be put in the actual locations in the 2D cockpit.

    A/P Bug (?)

There are just too many unknowns in the scenario as you've described it for me to do any kind of debugging. Specifics are important... ie. 1.) Did you click on the "AP Disconnect" button OR the "Trim" button? ... makes a BIG difference. 2.) Did you cancel the AP disco warning after the AP disconnected? 3.) Not sure what you mean when you say... "modes weren't working and they were disappearing from the ND too, so AP ON but no modes." What are you referring to as the "ND"? If you can reproduce this with EXACT steps let me know.
  20. Asking the same thing in the forums several different times is not going to get your question answered any faster. Please see my other posts for an answer.
  21. Albert, I'm not sure what version of the G1000 is being modeled in the DA42. They do state that ... "Although a particular attention is given to the systems reproduction (G1000), we do not claim a strict model of the real plane." So, for all I know, the version they are using may be wrong. In any event, the version of the G1000 that I modeled for the Columbia/Corvalis is accurate to what was actually in the aircraft during early production. I will not be changing this as it would not be accurate to the real world aircraft.
  22. Albert, You can set an NDB as a waypoint when creating a flight plan. You cannot set the radios to an NDB. I will not be changing this as the real world Columbia/Cessna/Garmin that this was modeled after does not have this feature.
  23. Correct, which is wrong It should be GPS, LOC1, VOR2.
  24. You would also end up in the pacific ocean as the Saab does not have that kind of range
  25. There are no altitude callouts on the "A" model with basic GPWS.
