  1. That's a great looking fuse! Keep up the work, and hope that Rafael doesn't take it. :-\ Great job though! I just hope to join all of you plane designers soon! Happy landings - Jason
  2. Well, I can't defend you any more, simply because you are a thief. Leeching off of other peoples work. What will happen when I start making planes? I am 13, and I am learning Blender, and I don't waste my time scamming other people and lying to the public! I honestly thought you were good at this, and thought that you were an amazing 3D artist, but now I see that you are simply a scam artist. Gilben is right, you can probably kiss your relationship with Theo good bye! Man I feel sorry for him right now. You are the kind of person who is discouraging growth in X-Plane. I can see who you really are now... :'(
  3. That is some immense detail! Especially on the seats! I can't wait to land at a few of the seaports in Vancouver!
  4. Just a question: I'm not sure if this is so with the SeaMax, but will you make it so that if you have the landing gear open while in water malfunctions may happen, or the plane will sink? Just a thought though. Thanks
  5. Indeed! There is always tension between members of the X-Plane community. So long as he's not putting anything into the final release, he's doing nothing wrong. Time for a song that should help us out a bit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dYpnd_9TFs
  6. Simply outstanding! I've said it twice, and I'l say it again for this plane; you have my sale guaranteed! On your second shot, I see there is a float on the back, I haven't seen this in any real seamax pics, is this a variant you are implementing?
  7. MNG, Glad you find your experience well! Any idea what kind of flying you do? If you fly at larger airports, you can download a plugin called "airport navigator" available here: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?autocom=downloads&showfile=4930 There is a multitude (more than 4000) of downloads available over at the .org as well.
  8. Hehehe! This looks very interesting! Will you release this as pay-ware?
  9. This is what I believe that X-Plane has been lacking for a very long time. The XPFW team are working on improving their V8 model, and have already made some very nice improvements to it. Unfortunately I am still only learning to use Blender, so I couldn't help much apart from betatesting it. Good luck! -Jason
  10. This would be the "O" key. Hit it a few times to show flight path, flight path and height, flight path and height in black, and ILS visualization. (If ILS is tuned proper)
  11. Judging by your Avatar, the V4 of the x737 should be amazing! Both realism and Eye Candy! More than anyone could ever possibly want! Is there any place where we may be able to look at screenshots of V4's progress? Thanks - Jason

    iMac or PC?

Actually glowworm, That came right off of Austin Meyers FPS Tuning guide. ;D
  13. Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I think you're right about moving into the 172 in the future. The 152 cabin is very small, but adequate enough for me. I will hopefully start flying in June, and currently I am in Air Law and getting ready to write my PSTAR exam.
  14. Wow! You just brought me back to my flight with Air Canada a couple of months ago! Might I suggest working seat belt and no smoking signs? Happy landings - Jason

    iMac or PC?

Yeah, Indi's right. Scientists did an experiment, and for a sim, 60 fps are required to fool your subcontious mind. Today's <standard> movie's are based at 29.97 fps, but as Indi said, the frames are smoothed. It is with a TV that you don't notice higher than 30 fps, but not so with computers. Personally, I aim for at least 35 fps, and most of the time, my '07 iMac can keep those frames running pretty fast at very high res and 65 degrees FOV. Happy landings - Jason

    iMac or PC?

Yes, the 4850 card would work splendid with X-Plane. I can run X-Plane with my 2600 pro just fine on my iMac from 2007, so I couldn't imagine why you couldn't? Unfortunately, driver support isn't the best on OSX, but I'm not sure about your card, it may have new drivers. Happy landings - Jason
  17. Ok! I finished the livery! Here it is: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?autocom=downloads&showfile=7941
  18. Is that "shine" at the tip of the engines part of the sim, or is that from a picture?
  19. Hey guys, I started a (fictional) Air Canada Jazz livery today, and am almost finished. I still have yet to make a LIT texture later today, but overall, it's done. If you find anything should be changed or improved, let me know. Thanks! - Jason
  20. Hey Javier, I mailed Austin about 3D clouds. He said he would look into it and consider adding them to X-Plane in the future. Thanks - Jason
  21. Nova, The X737 was not made for eye candy. It's like Peter hagers Airbus models, it's made for functionality and realism. Although I do agree that a few minor things could be touched up on the plane, (including a widescreen panel) it is still a great and realistic simulation. If you are looking for eye candy, try XPFW's 757. That plane has both realism and eye candy. As for the CRJ 200, a "lite" version would (IMO) be a waste of time. One reason being, there is more work in creating 2 planes, and the other being that very few people would actually buy a lite version. Correct me if I'm wrong. Happy landings - Jason
  22. No reason why DRM can't be implemented? ???
  23. I doubt 9.4 will be out before the release of this beauty. Just a question: Is it possible to simulate the "curve" effect of the CRT's in the CRJ? Secondly: Is the custom FMS still ago? I think that the new VAS FMC could help you quite a bit with the FMC. Thanks - Jason
  24. Hey guys, I was wondering if it is possible to associate X-Plane with another program. (Have the other program launch automatically when X-Plane launches) The reason I want to do this is because I don't want to have to open VAS FMC (An amazing program!) every time I launch X-Plane. this way X-Plane would launch, and VAS FMC would already be running. P.S. VAS FMC is available here: http://vas-project.org/ Thanks! - Jason
  25. O.K. Guess Austin didn't like the idea after all. He SAID he would implement it, but decided to switch it on the last moment. He told me to tell someone else to do it... Not really the best thing to say. I guess that would be a nice feature in X-Joystick after all!
