This is true...if we're in the year 2012 and before. You can read more about that here. Since this fix in 2012 there are no known outstanding issues with Gizmo. You misunderstood Philipp to think you could update something, and I could see why, so clarification was necessary. Plainly put: You misunderstood. Unfortunately I don't believe so. That code resides within the CRJ code Philipp built. As this product has been on market and considered "complete" for years, I don't think we'll see this. I know it's a miss of sorts, but luckily that particular sound is really the only thing different between any versions. Hope that helps to answer your concern at the very least!

You seem to be misunderstanding, so I'll simplify this for you... The sounds are not present in our CRJ code and as such there is nothing you can do on your end to add them. Philipp's explanation is the reasoning for this.

No release date or anything, but as of now our beta team is working on the 8th beta build of SoundMaxx. We have a few more to go yet.

I did miss this part. Sorry about that... What issue are you having on the startup procedure? Perhaps there's a step being missed, but I can't imagine a new install would help if other things are working as they should for the moment. Though tedious, if you write down every step you take to attempt to start your engines and list them here, I'm sure we can assist in getting that working for you. Sorry if you feel that way, but I'm not being "mean". That's your interpretation, though incorrect. What part of "hate to be blunt" don't you understand? Rather, I'm being to the point. It's an argument that's going to quite literally go nowhere. I don't view his comments as criticism (certainly not personally, at least!), though that was a valiant effort to turn something on me that was never an issue in the first place. Perhaps you should read the words I wrote literally, for what they were, and try to leave emotion out of it. There's nothing to lighten up about. We're just not going to get into a rally about something that has been this way for ages, and is nothing but X-Plane's own simulation.

We have no idea when this will drop or what it even entails. As such, we cannot even state whether it will be paid upgrade or not, as we just don't know. If it's paid, it will be at discount to current V2 users. Sorry. Wish I could have answered this better for you.

IFR flying is fine, especially in the latest build of SkyMaxx Pro. This topic is pretty old. That said, the weather injection part hasn't changed. Like I said, someday I'm sure someone will accomplish this. Until then I'm going to keep enjoying flying my airliners and doing IFR practice with SkyMaxx Pro....just like MANY OTHERS are already doing. Jarring or not, just remember that the transition is what X-Plane says it should be for the given location of your aircraft. I can live with that for now, but always welcome anything better in the future. Sorry you find it unusable for yourself.
