  1. They are inside of the objects folder within the 747 aircraft folder. The purple textures are called normal maps. I think there's a few topics on them here either in the aircraft dev forum or the 3D shop section if you'd like to read a little more about them!
  2. The real CRJ does not have VNAV. Only advisories.

Did you download on torrent or through the demo downloader?
  5. Great shots! Welcome to X-Pilot!

    X-Aviation Begins Orders for X-Plane 10

Hey, Simon, Thanks for your support and purchase! Looking forward to fulfilling your order!
  9. Me neither. Will you make a better one for us, please?
  10. Considering that the "basics" really only have to do with a flight model, then Javier's construction of what may be improper looking to you has no effect on what's fundamentally "basic." 3D objects are not what the flight model is based off of, and considering how much BETTER the default, FREE X-Plane 10 747 is graphically over all other versions available, I'm rather astonished at your nitty gritty upset. If it were a payware plane, I could sympathize with you to a much larger degree. If you're really just into the flight model side of it, just open up the acf file in Plane Maker and see if the flight model side of it appeals to you. If not, you could always attach the obj's to the XPFW model. That said, maybe our version of "basics" is different to a large degree. To me, "basics" should mean that as a flight sim, the flight model should be the most basic and important aspect. A 3D hump off by a couple of degrees has no bearing on my flight experience...for "free" as a bonus added piece to the package.

    X-Aviation Begins Orders for X-Plane 10

Carlos, X-Pilot is not selling this. X-Aviation is. Many of the X-Aviation developers are part of the X-Plane 10 team at Laminar. X-Aviation is sent the DVDs we sell directly FROM Laminar. There is no difference between the DVDs at X-Aviation vs. the org or x-plane.com. The only difference is you will be entitled to the exceptional support X-Aviation is so well known for. Thanks for your interest!
  12. Send me a PM. I don't have any open support requests, so I'll be happy to assist you there. By the way, the e-mail you have listed is NOT valid for support at this time, and never has been. The proper way to contact is through the contact form on our page. Thanks!

    X-Aviation Begins Orders for X-Plane 10

Shipping is expedited out on priority mail for international. It generally takes 7-8 days to reach most places of the world out of the US. Sometimes sooner, but that's the safer bet. We can arrange for faster shipping if it's wanted, but it won't be $5. Thanks for the interest!
  14. It's not entirely hardware dependent. Can be changed around due to new method of internet connection, or OS re-install/upgrade as well. E-Mailing X-Aviation is the way to go. Activation support is not provided within the forums.
  15. Random topic, I know. Topic pretty much says it all, and this is purely for my own curiosity... Xbox or PS3? Why one over the other?
  16. Rumors should be taken only with a grain of salt. In all truth, FSDreamTeam has consistently stated publicly and privately that their interests do not lie with X-Plane.
  17. No need to buy again.
  18. No, it is not.
  19. I'm honestly unaware of a list. I don't think it's at the top of the priority list though. That said, I also don't think they are holding out the aircraft as secrets. A number of them were shown in Javier's X-Plane video showcasing all of his works (payware and XP 10). More of the secrets have been left to some of the eye candy that still hasn't been shown yet.
  20. This was originally by Sergio Santagada. His health has declined, and as such the plane has not been finished. The final outcome of this aircraft and its fate has not been decided yet, but it won't be present in the initial XP 10 release at the least.
  21. Things happen.
