Sorry, Tom, This product already has gone through color adjustments and leveling on a very big level. It is done, and it looks fantastic in sim! If you do not agree then that is okay! My comments were not up for debate, and you are very much so reading way farther into them than they were ever intended to be interpreted. As someone who grew up in this region and frequented the area, as well as flew around almost the entire map of coverage when receiving my pilot credentials, I am quite confident and pleased with what is coming forth, as to are the others involved in development. Again, it obviously does not cater to you, and that's okay. Not being able to please everyone is a fact of life. We will easily be able to please the majority and that's what we're after. Thanks!

Not sure I see the sense in this post? There's no rule that states you have to choose this site or the other, and most people here visit the org as well. Of course, there's a vocal group who have also been kicked from the there (naturally you won't see their posts at the org), but having multiple places to discuss our hobby is a good thing for everyone in the community. There's a distinguished line between disliking the site and disliking management. Complaints come from the management, not the existence of the site or the wonderful people in the X-Plane community, which is why we care. The org serves a great purpose, regardless of disagreements.

That's more along the lines of what I was thinking, and is precisely what we just went through here. Hopefully they have similar backup measures in place like we do. It gets tough when servers contains such large amounts of content.

Avsim is there, just REALLY slow. I hope for the sake of the entire community it comes back, and I'm sure it will.

You'd need to create your own mesh with a geotiff and apply a shapefile to the entire area of the DSF being created. Unfortunately, you'll be stuck with a V9 mesh until Laminar updates MeshTool.

I suppose these types of sceneries are then not for you and therefore I don't see the point of your post! Green is green is green where it's supposed to be...green. Everyone has their own preference. We know that, and so does Laminar. A ton of people will prefer this over default, and just the same, some people will prefer default over accurately placed imagery. Can't please everyone, but we can certainly please the majority!

Incorrect, especially with the new spill lights. If they are not XP10 optimized then only a given number will work, and often times not as many as the aircraft may actually have. This is precisely why the pretty night lights in XP10 as a whole don't work unless HDR is enabled. There is a spill cone effect Dan creates, but this is not what we're talking about anyhow. It should definitely work with HDR (haven't had time to try), but I'd say something is definitely amiss if it's not.
